Stayed Oct 30, 2025We had a wonderful time fishing the lake. Aspen cabin has GREAT hosts who pay attention to making guests feel comfortable. This is not your stereotypical cabin up north, it’s a gem and with every penny!

Stayed Sep 18, 2025Very well kept, beautiful lake. Owners easy to get a hold of, we took our side by sides.. a small note in the information that we could not drive them around there as the trail is not available.

Stayed Dec 24, 2023We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin it was very cozy and warm. The kitchen/great room is very spacious. The kitchen has all the cooking tools you need to make nice home cooked meals. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. The 2 bathrooms are nicely updated and were an important feature for us. We had our two dogs with us and they had lots of outdoor space to play. The views of the lake from the great room are beautiful. We had Friday night fish fry at the resort restuarant, it was one of the best I've had anywhere. There were six in our party the cabin was perfect for our group and our pups. I highly recommend it!

Stayed Nov 2, 2023Great place to stay just outside of Hayward, the cabin was comfortable and a great size for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable and there were portable fans in every room. Craig was a great host a made sure we had everything we needed.
