Lake front walk-out cabin, private driveway and entrance. The cabin is partially attached to our home by a locked stairway to our home upstairs. Fully private, no shared spaces. The main room has a full kitchen, with stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave , dishwasher and ice maker. And the living room has a gas log burning stove with a sliding glass door to your private patio. Laundry room with stackable washer/dryer unit. Bathroom with vanity and new large shower. 3 bedrooms, 1 with king bed and sliding glass door access to patio and lake and 1 with queen bed and window facing patio and lake. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bed. The patio has a fire pit, charcoal grill, table & chairs and picnic table. About 8 big steps to the dock and lake. Free use of a canoe and row boat. We also have a pontoon available for fishing and swimming off of or tow everyone around the lake on one of our giant tubes. Also if you prefer bring your own boat to enjoy the lake or fish from the dock. Across the road is our horse barn and pasture. We have a horse that love petting and treats and Stella and Frankie a couple of fainting goats (that don’t faint). We have a large yard by the barn where we can set up volleyball, horseshoes or other games for you or just extra parking. We also have many beautiful trails near our property to walk. The county has many trails you can easily get to with your 4 wheeler. Rent canoes and go down the St Croix river from Danbury.

In addition, they can make arrangements ahead of time to rent the pontoon boat to use on the front lake.brOther things to notebrThis is rural country area (a good 15 minutes from the grocery store and 7 minutes from the nearest convenience store) with wildlife all around including deer, rabbits, eagles, turtles, fish, etc. While the cabin is modern and refined, the outside is rustic and natural, un-manicured. There are dining options available in nearby towns about 10-20 minute drive. The back of the property also abuts another lake which is great for kayaking and canoeing and leads through channels to two other lakes where there are no cabins or homes. It reminds me a lot back there of the boundary waters canoe area.

The lake is at its highest level in years and our beach has a rocky turning to sand frontage, is now underwater, so water shoes are recommended (because of the rocks). However, our water is crystal clear. We have a brand new dock system for 2017 that has a deck for additional seating, chairs, and a ladder. We do have elevation to our shoreline (about 45 steps - depending on the water level).brbrWe are only allowed to have our guests park in the driveways (we have 2) with a max of 4 cars, and there is room for a trailer (for your toys). We also have a security system that can be turned on/off remotely.
