Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds, including near the farmhouse, during visiting hours. Likewise, farm and gardening staff may be present at any time. This home was literally born/built in Canada, where it was a family home for years. It went up for sale and was purchased by me (the owner), and barged to Sequim Wa where it now graces my waterfront property. We have spent years updating and making each and every room special. It has a very coastal vibe, with all its updates. The Sequim Beach House has lovingly been decorated with many treasures collected over the years. brbrThe expansive deck (1400 SQ FT) area has multiple gathering areas to take in the view of the Dungeness Lighthouse and Sandspit, shipping traffic, Mt. Baker and more... We have an outdoor bar, outdoor hot tub , 2 BBQ's, interactive ship's wheel bar table, comfy chairs and couches.brbrThe layout of this home: The main floor - You enter front door into the grand entry with a spiral staircase. There is a living room area with a flatscreen TV and recliners for those who want extra comfort, a large dining room with seating for approx. 14 people plus a small bar area, kitchen area with a wall that is set up for a coffee/hot cocoa bar - center prep area with propane burners -electric oven with electric burners; you choose how you want to prepare your feast. There is a billiard room off the dining room - complete with billiard table and a flatscreen TV as well as a smaller size bedroom off the billiard area with a queen bed for those who prefer less stairs. There are French doors from the billiard room, kitchen and living room/breakfast table room to the expansive deck!!brbrUpstairs there are 5 bedrooms. Wild Rose on the Bay is a recently-remodeled house in a natural setting on the waterfront shores of Sequim Bay. There is a peaceful feeling of tranquility and privacy as you gaze out over the back yard to the beautiful waters of Sequim Bay and the forested hills beyond. The two-bedroom house is elegantly appointed, but at the same time retains the rustic feel of a secluded cabin in a country setting. The skip-sawn Douglas fir floor is dramatic, and it complements the exposed wooden beams and ceiling in the living room and master bedroom. The master bedroom, which flows out to the back deck through french doors, has a king-sized bed with side tables plus a sitting area for reading or watching TV. It also has a large, walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a closet, side tables, and small sitting area. Some of the original closets and kitchen cabinets have been kept to preserve the history of the house and have been updated with a fresh, new look. This home sleeps four. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your use. brbrThe property flows down from forests and meadows past an old wooden shed and a new garage before you arrive at the main house. The garage has a 220 volt, 50 amp electric vehicle outlet on the outside wall for charging EV batteries A the front entrance of the house, you will approach the front door on a small, Alaskan cedar deck. On the back side of the house, the generous Alaskan cedar deck looks over a large lawn before coming to a small deck at the top of a 20' bank. There you will find a small, middle deck with a stairway leading down to the lower deck right off the beach. That middle deck at the top of the bank has a fire pit with plenty of firewood nearby. It’s a great place to watch sunsets with a fire going while taking in the incredible views in a private, peaceful setting. brbrThe lower deck has short ramp to the beach on one end, and on the other end there is a small dock house. (The key is in the welcome basket in the main house.). Once inside, there’s a cozy, intimate feeling while sitting on the futon couch. Since you’re only about six feet above the beach, it will seem like you’re connected to the water of Sequim Bay as you gaze out the generous windows and often hear the waves lapping the shore below, especially at high tide when the water is under the dock house. brbrFor those who are comfortable with the safe use of kayaks, there are two 10’ kayaks available for you to paddle along the shores of Sequim Bay. Kayak paddles and life vests are stored inside the dock house.brbrWhen the weather is warm, one may even venture to swim in the cool waters of Sequim Bay with water shoes to protect your feet from the rocky beach.brbrThis is a perfect country, waterfront getaway for a relaxing and refreshing vacation.

A 6,000 sqft pole barn w/2 stalls (2 more coming) would make for a great destination for those riding, or attending events in the area. Adjacent to the barn is a large horse fenced 100'x90' pasture and a 75x90' round pen is in the works. There are trails along perimeter & thru-out the property. Access to DNR is via trails out the back of the property to Johnson Creek Rd and up the hill. Please observe signage as horse traffic is limited to certain areas. Please respect neighbor property and stay on the marked pathways. Thank you.brbrThe 6000 sqft pole Barn and other locations on property would also would serve well as a backdrop wedding location for small elopements, vow renewals, family reunions, yoga/ corporate retreats, cider pressing, Christmas/Holiday Parties, you name it and we can probably do it! There is room for everyone w/straw bales, picnic tables and more. Enjoy picnics, barbecues, family get togethers, you name it. KIDS-Bring your tent and set it up in the campground area out back. brA large, 20'x30' covered back deck w/ furniture & dining table, w/a 3 person infrared sauna and a 7 person hot tub on the large stone patio, in which to relax and take in the views and sounds of the coyotes at night. Trails are cut thru the property and the Magic Forest, for leisurely strolls or kids to run around and play in (please stay on mowed pathways). This property is setup with families in mind. It has its own heat pump/AC, kitchenette, fridge, washer/dryer, large 3/4 bathroom w/ roll in shower w/seat & grab bars, covered deck, skylites and great views, especially when the deer & Elk are in the backyard! This room also has it's own sitting area and TV, kitchen table, etc.. Also has coffee maker, microwave, 2 burner hotplate, toaster.
