You can enjoy beach combing and magical views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier at low tide, and enjoy dining and shopping in our state's capital, as the cabin is just 15 minutes drive from downtown Olympia. brbrOnce you are on Sandy Point Beach Road, keep an eye out for herons, migrating ducks, and eagles in the marsh before heading up the hill to our property. This is a bird-watcher's paradise!brbrLook for the big red mailbox with the row-boat-flower-bed marking our driveway. Parking is available anywhere on the gravel parts of the driveway or under the carport. The lockbox code will be sent with your confirmed reservation.brbrThe spacebrThe addition is newly furnished to host up to 5 guests: All guest access the Main house which has a bedroom and office/yoga space, living room with record player and smart TV, fully stocked kitchen, porch with porch swing and telescope, meditation deck, fire pit, hammock for dry days, kayaks and SUPs! For parties of 3 or more, we open up the Addition (Queen bed, twin bed, laundry and work area).brbrOnce you settle in, watch for bald eagles flying by daily over the Sound, or an occasional seal. The whole property is yours to explore!brbrWith newly improved beach access and a meditation deck --- you can enjoy coffee with a view or keep track of the tide charts for some fun beach combing. At low tide, you may see geoduck farmers working the farms on the neighboring beach properties -- in case you are wondering what all the nets or pipes are - just some local shellfish farming! Enjoy walking along the beach on low tides; you may catch a glimpse of Mt. Rainier out to the right.brbrThe house is single story but not very accessible for wheelchairs, with narrow hallways and small bathroom, and we don't have wheelchair-accessible beach access, but Tolmie state park nearby does.brbrOther things to note:brThere are no doors in the main cabin (except the bathroom) , just curtains for the bedroom and office. (Crooked floors don’t like doors. :P )

This well stocked lake is great for fishing, boating and swimming. Very quiet and private. Beautiful sunsets and lots of wildlife. Located at the end of a dead end street.brThe custom front door opens up to provide a gorgeous view of the lake through a wall of glass; beautifully crafted cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and an expansive staircase that leads to the main bedroom in the loft. brThe bedroom has plenty of closet space, and a very comfortable Queen-size bed. Looking out over the hand-crafted railing, you'll enjoy a view of the stunning river rock fireplace, spacious living room and kitchen area, as well as a spectacular view of Lake St. Clair. brThe kitchen is well-equipped with a gas range, electric oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator and dishwasher. brThe living room offers two comfy couches, smart TV and a rock wall fireplace.brThe heated flooring make both the granite flooring in the living room and the wood flooring in the kitchen feel quite warm and cozy. For the Summer there is Air Conditioning but you probably won't need it. There is a wonderful breeze from the lake. brThe bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi bathtub with dual shower heads and built-in seat. There's also a washer/dryer for your convenience.brThe downstairs bedroom, which is off of the living room, offers twin beds and very comfortable bedding. brCobblestone patio for outside entertaining with views of the lake. Very convenient to Joint Base Lewis McChord. Also good for temporary housing. 20 minutes from the north gate to Joint Base Lewis McChord or The Capitol building in Olympia. Comfortable, safe, beautiful place to stay during your visit to Yelm. brOlympia - Lobbyists, Legislators : Need to come to the capitol Make this your favorite place to stay. Olympia has some great restaurants right on South Puget sound.brRed Wind Casino is a great place to eat and only 4 miles from the lakehouse. They a cafe and a fancy restaurant. Lots of slot machines, card tables and keno. Great senior discounts.brOnly 40 miles to Mt Rainier National Park. Drive to the glaciers at the top! Beautiful views and great hikes.brCheck out the Billy Frank Nisqually Park just 15 miles away.
