This newer upscale 2400 square foot cedar log home is located on the confluence of the Lost and Methow Rivers. The 35 foot glass prow windows face the river and North Cascades National Park. Although the river goes subterranean sometimes during the fall, swimming, rock hunting, snowmobiling and skiing are favorite activities on the river. For groceries and delicious baked goods don't forget to stop by the Mazama General store, about 7 miles from the house.brbrThis is not your usual 'generic' vacation rental. It is a 'guest home' and it will feel that way too. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. The living and dining area share the same space as the generous kitchen, with the two decks to opening to either side. The Master suite, with king bed and bath are to one end, and the other two bedrooms share the common bath. There is a laundry/utility room. One of the bedroom has two twin beds, which are usually fit together to become a king bed, though they can also be separated.
