Bugs and pests: The home is located in a rural area in the Vermont mountains and although we perform regular pest control on the cabins we cannot guarantee it to be pest free of all bugs and animal and pests. We cannot compensate for the presence of pests, insects and animals. We also ask that all guests respect nature that you Do Not feed wildlife. Road conditions: Recommend four wheel drive in Winter/snow months with snow tires. We do not refund due to weather conditions. The road will be plowed as soon as the local plow person has done so and at his discretion. The owner or host is not required to help remove a stuck vehicle or reimburse for any towing on or off the property. No refunds will be given for tow services required by the renters. Code of conduct rules must be followed by all guests: In appropriate conduct/behavior includes and not limited to violence, verbal or physical abuse, violating all part of this said agreement, act or acts that threaten the safety to others, loud music, repetitive noise that disturbs others, annoying to others or unauthorized services, programs or gatherings. On behalf of Mad River Valley Rental Management, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $1,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.brB. Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $1,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.brC. This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.brII. EXCLUSIONSbrA. This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.brC. This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 3 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.brD. Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars. brE. This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. A stain or spillage is considered damage. brF. If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation.
