It is a dead end road with only handful of cabins so very private neighborhood.brbrParking at the cabin is simple with a freshly paved driveway (2 spaces) and 1 up on the street if needed. Tip for traveling to Gatlinburg where traffic can heavy and parking is $10-$20, if you park at the Gatlinburg Visitor Center and take the trolley into town it is free. Primary renter is required to be at least 22 years of age. brbrUP TO 2 DOGS ARE ALLOWED PER STAY, but you must select pets at the time of booking. You will spend a lot of time in the car. The park is gorgeous but timely to navigate for first time flat-landers. There is no Cell Service once you're in the park so be prepared with maps or screen shots. There are no cabins inside the park other than the ones you may pass on certain hikes that are 100 years old and not inhabitable. It's a national park since 1934. brbrPIGEON FORGE: 6 miles easy roads. brbrGATLINBURG: 14 miles heavy traffic. brbrCADES COVE: 30 miles. 1 hour 30 minutes to get there. The loop at Cade's cove is 10.6 miles. Drive it, rent a bike at the start and bike it, or run it. It is closed to cars and open to runners and cyclists Wednesday and Saturday mornings until 10:00am Early May to Late September. Gorgeous views, wildlife, and a pretty good chance you'll see a bear. brbrCLINGMAN'S DOME: 38 Miles. This will take 3-4 hours round trip. There are plenty of amazing hikes at Newfound Gap on the way up such as Andrews Bald and The Jump Off and more hikes in the Clingman's Dome area. We supply dishwashing soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, fresh cotton linens, towels and a beautiful setting for making memories!brbrThe cabin is located right off the dead end street (not a busy street) on a wooded acre hillside lot with elevated views of the woods from the back deck. brbrWe love animals but absolutely NO PETS. You have full access to everything in the cabin, it is yours so please treat it with the respect it deserves. Like most cabins this one is on a well and septic system so please be mindful of water usage (if you take 30 minute showers there is a chance you will be without water for a time) and PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILETS AND NO GREASE DOWN THE SINK!! We have the cabin treated monthly for pests but again you are in the woods so there may be the occasional bug or dead bug body.brbrThe road to the cabin is well paved and there are multiple outlets to get to different parts of the area depending on what the day's activities call for.brbrWe love animals but absolutely NO PETS.brbrAll guests MUST be 23 years or older unless there is a parent/guardian present. Message us if you do not meet this requirement and if you have previous positive reviews we will consider your request, thanks for your understanding.brbrIf you plan to come and be loud and obnoxious and party then please do not rent this cabin.brbrPlease limit smoking to the front porch where there is an ashtray bucket.
