Mountain View is a cozy house that features the best view on scenic Monteagle Mountain. This comfortable, 2850 square feet mountain house was built in 2001 and is newly decorated. It is nestled on 5.5 acres, overlooking a dramatic 2000 foot view in Clifftops - between Sewanee and Monteagle, Tennessee. There are 900 added square feet of porch, both screened and open, a vast great room with open kitchen is an exceptional gathering place with vaulted ceiling, large stone, wood-burning fireplace, multiple seating areas and stereo with built-in speakers.brbrThere are four bedrooms, sleeping a total of 8 people in beds. Two bedrooms are on each side of the great room. One bedroom is a master with private porch, queen bed, ceiling fan and master bath with whirlpool tub and luxury shower. A second bedroom overlooking the mountain view has a double bed and bath. The third bedroom has twin beds and bath. The fourth bedroom, also overlooking the mountain, has a double bed. There is a sofa-bed in the great room and there are 3 air mattresses.brbrA large, open modern kitchen has new gas stove and range and every convenience and is open to the great room. Hardwood floors are throughout and ceiling fans are in the great room and on the porches. brbrThe home is an ideal place to relax and gaze at the mountain view which is dramatic four seasons of the year.
