To start i rented the cabin for Christmas. It is a beautiful small but confy cabin. There was three thing fors us the first was the smell its a strong smell of musk. It would be great before someone is howing up to air it out. And number 2 for me and my family was the grill it says they clean and have it ready before every new renter but is was realy dirty . So I tried to clean it but without the necessary things was unable.i tried towork around it and use the sideburner with my iron skillet for some burgers but ran out of propane on the 3rd burger. And for me that was a big one because i specifically asked if i needed my own propane and was told it would all be there for me . But as llong and they work on the small stuff it is a good cabin next to a beautiful creek.

When we booked the cabin on the river, we didn’t realize how ON the river we’d be! It’s SO beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and a great place to do a family getaway into nature! We found 18 of the 24 gnomes in the forest. The cabin was provided by a TON of towels for the hot tub and showers. The Roku provided a ton of channels to choose from, and there are tons of family games and books provided!

We come here to get put pf the city (Portland) for a few daus. It is nicely private and we love the proximity to the creek. Searching for the gnomes was fun, too. Weve booked another stay in October.

We loved the location and the outdoor area, even though it poured rain our entire stay and we weren’t able to use it, except for the hot tub which was great. Just our luck. The house is old but clean. Loved using the fireplace! We only have 2 complaints. The house smells very old and musty. The water smells horrible. When you turn on the shower, the house fills with the sulfur smell. It’s disgusting. There has to be something that can be done about it.

This place is beautiful. So close to the river! It’s amazingly peaceful and quiet. My only complaints are that the water has a very, very strong smell of sulpher because of the well, which is what they use out in the middle of the mountain! Also, someone really needs to sharpen the knives or get new ones. We had a great time, and will return!

This cabin is perfect. The views of the creek and tranquility of the surrounding woods make for a perfect location to relax for a weekend. We had so much fun looking for the gnomes hidden on the property. And the cabin is a very short drive to numerous trailheads and food options. We had a couple fantastic hikes and enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after. We will definitely be back!

My partner grew up in this area so it was a novelty for him to vacation here, but he still had a good time. I appreciated the thorough instructions for everything so there were no misunderstandings. It really was nice. My only suggestions would be to add cushions to the dining table chairs, we spent a few hours putting a giant Lego cat together and our bums got numb a couple times haha also something to fill in the space between the wall and the bed so u wasn't constantly fishing around for the pillows when they slid back there. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back!

This is a lovely, cozy cabin. We did quite enjoy trying to find all the gnomes in the woods, and were amazed at the lack of invasive plants. It's truly a native plant paradise. The huckleberries were in full fruit, but we left them all for the bears and bunnies. We found the water to be quite hard, though, and would've appreciated knowing about that ahead of time. Luckily the Thriftway located nearby stayed open late, and we were able to get filtered water.
