As my family’s primary residence that we make available during extended periods away, the house is furnished and equipped with amenities that many short-term rentals are not.brbrThe single bedroom features a queen bed and dresser, as well as curtains and blinds for privacy, a closet, and an iron and small ironing board for your convenience. There is a quiet, high efficiency AC unit in the bedroom window in the summer, central heat in the colder months.brbrFull bathroom with abundant counter space, complementary natural body wash, shampoo and conditioner, as well as a hair-dryer.brbrOur kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, sink microwave, drip coffee-maker, French press, plenty of counter space, a kitchen island with stools, and all the essentials for cooking or reheating leftovers from the many nearby restaurants. The carrera marble bath tiles are heated for winters, and the deck and garden have seating areas for summer. Like a little hotel room, this queen-bed studio suite is ideal for 1 or 2 who would like an entirely separate space, but don't need a full kitchen. The room features microwave, mini-fridge, teakettle & basic flatware - ideal for simple breakfasts or reheated leftovers.brbrThis suite is attached to the back of our rebuilt victorian home, and was specifically designed with a separate entrance and a small hotel-room-like space for your privacy and independence. The suite is off of our Southern-facing garden, away from the street, with your door opening off of your own arbored deck with cafe table and chairs overlooking the garden.
