The alcove has a queen size bed, with a supportive, comfortable high end hybrid memory foam mattress on an adjustable bed base with luxury linens and USB charging outlets. Additional queen size 6 memory foam platform bed available upon request. Relax in the living area with board games, DVDs, or watch Netflix & Amazon on the 65 smart tv- you may also bring your credentials for other apps (no cable tv). The desk alcove provides working space if needed and the suite has dedicated high speed internet and its own HVAC/ heat & air conditioning, also has a 4-speed ceiling fan. The bathroom has a spa-like feeling with a low-threshold shower and walnut vanity. Cedar lined walk in closet with extra pillows & blankets. Outdoor ski rack provided in winter months. Please NOTE: We do have several chickens and a proud rooster on property. We do not allow pets of any kind. Park in the upper driveway (all the way around the front of the house) and enjoy flat, no stairs access directly to the studio door. Plenty of parking space for trailers or larger vehicles. brbrLOCATION: We are located in a very quiet, peaceful area on a state-maintained gravel road. The Middle Fork Greenway trail and Tweetsie Railroad are within walking distance, only minutes to Blue Deer Cookies, Birdie's Coffee, and Mystery Hill. 5 miles to downtown Blowing Rock, Tanger Outlets and Appalachian Ski Mountain, and 4 miles to Boone. 7-8 miles from two equestrian centers. Excellent restaurants abound nearby and we're happy to make recommendations.brOnly 5 minutes from Boone, 30 minutes to Banner Elk, and 30 - 40 minutes from Sugar or Beech ski areas. As its name suggests, Paws A While is a great place for you and your four-legged family members to enjoy together. brbrThe main level offers a great room with vaulted ceilings, a stacked stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, tongue-in-groove ceilings, a Smart HDTV with a premium dish network with 300 channels as well as streaming, and a charming bear mural painted on one wall. The dining table seats up to 10 with room for 4 more at the kitchen island. The kitchen is nicely updated with granite counters and stainless appliances including a gas stove. Downstairs is a second living area with a pool table and another Smart HDTV, providing a great space for kids of all ages to have fun. brbrWith six bedrooms, there's plenty of great options for everyone in your group to get a perfect night's sleep. On the main level you'll find a King bedroom and Queen bedroom, and a shared bathroom. The kitchen area offers black appliances and custom cabinets with bark facades, as well as granite counters and all the basics you'll need to prepare snacks and meals. Between the kitchen and living areas is the long wormy chestnut dining table, with room for 8 people comfortably dining together. brbrThe master suite is located off the living room through a set of double doors. There's just 5 steps to the covered deck, then you're inside! Large windows as well as a vaulted T&G ceiling in the living area brings lots of natural light and open feeling. There's comfortable leather furniture arranged facing the gas log fireplace and big TV (offering YouTube TV streaming), a perfect place to relax and watch your favorite games and shows. The kitchen area offers black appliances and custom cabinets, as well as granite counters and all the basics you'll need to prepare snacks and meals. Just off the kitchen area is the long dining table, with room for 6-8 people comfortably dining together. brbrThe primary suite is located off the living room. There's a King bed and more vaulted ceilings here, and the private bathroom has a water closet, tiled shower, & double vanities. By the kitchen is a second suite, with a Queen bed, TV, and private bathroom with a tub/shower. brbrDownstairs you'll find a bonus room with a sleeper sofa, as well as a third bedroom a set of twin over full bunk beds. brbrOff the living room is a door to the open rear deck. It's a great place to sit and reflect with your morning coffee while you enjoy the sounds of nature around you. During chill evenings, enjoy the gas firetable! A set of steps off the back deck leads to a stone fire ring in the yard as well. Soak in the newly installed hot tub. The backyard has a semi-fenced area and is gently slope. It's a great place for kids & dogs to run and play while you watch from the deck, then set up cornhole boards or throw a football! (Do note that the yard is not fully fenced in.) brbrBigfoot Bungalow is located less than 15 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock's shopping and dining options. The Blue Ridge Parkway is less than a half mile away, as well! All that the High Country has to offer is a short drive away. brbrADDITIONAL NOTES br-This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs under 60 pounds, with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. br-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.br- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals.
