During its operating days/times, you will also enjoy the ambiance of hearing the charming sounds of the Tweetsie Railroad in the distance. On the 4th of July, you have a front row seat to the Tweetsie Railroad fireworks; On New Year's Eve, a perfect view of the Appalachian Ski Resort fireworks display

- Wood-burning fire pit with seating for 6 gathering outdoors, relaxing by the fire and enjoying cool Blue Ridge evenings. Firewood is stocked, and one firestarter will be provided complimentary per stay. Reusable sticks for roasting marshmallows are provided as well
