Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 3 bedroom 2 bath vintage ranch home on the northwest shore of Owasco Lake. The master bedroom suite has a king sized bed, and adjoining master bath. The remaining 2 bedrooms are furnished with new queen beds. A sleeper-sofa in the living room pulls out to sleep an additional 2 adults or 3 small children. A full house will sleep 8 comfortably. The living room looks out through huge windows for a beautiful vista across and down the lake. The classic kitchen is complete and is attached to a dining room that seats 8 around the table. If you have small children, you will absolutely love this end of Owasco -- as you can walk out into the water a quarter of a mile and still only have the water level come up to an adult's waste. There is a fire pit right on the edge of the lake where you can sit out and enjoy a moon rise. There are 6 cement steps down into the water from the front lawn. Large shade trees here as well, making those hot summer days even more enjoyable after you come in off a sunny day on the lake. The large deck allows for barbecuing, eating outside or simply resting in a comfortable chair or glider with a good book. We include 2 kayaks, a two-person canoe, and an aluminum fishing boat and 6 hp Mercury motor, as well as all new life jackets. If you need to borrow a fishing pole or two, or even some fishing tackle, you can help yourself. We have MANY inner tubes, floaties and life preservers on site. We have plenty of games, cards and puzzles for those occasional rainy days.brbrCamp Gramp is located directly across from Emerson Park. You can walk to the Merry-Go-Round Theater. It is a short walk to Owasco Paddle Boards rentals just north of us on the sureline. THIS is THE BEST spot to view the whole lake from, you can watch weather coming up from the south end as you sit out on the 270 degree view deck. You'll hear the geese honking as they fly over and land on the lake. We have bald eagles and ospreys that may show off as they pluck a fish out from the shallows in front of the house on the water. Nature, relaxation and recreation can all be found at Camp Gramp!brbrWe are just south of Auburn, NY with easy interstate access. Day trips to Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, Harriet Tubman's home, William Seward's estate, and a short drive to the Women's Rights National Park in Seneca Falls, NY are all close. There are numerous wineries and breweries within 40 miles of our home to enjoy (if you bring a designated driver, of course).brbrThe BEST part will be walking out into the lake and floating in the sun with a sandy bottom under your feet!

This home with waterfront is perfect for family reunions, extended families, or just large groups of friends! The east side location provides plenty of sunshine and awesome sunsets. There is a large two acre grassy lawn for kids to play and no neighbors on either side near the house. Since the yard is very spacious, you do have to walk approximately 100 yards (length of a football field) down the gently sloping property to the beach. The property gets more narrow towards the beach area where cottages get closer together. A stone driveway to drive to the water for people who can't walk this distance is located on the side of the property and cuts across the lawn near the waterfront. It is also used as a driveway/lane for cottages directly on the water. Kids can run and play, fly a kite, adults can have a volleyball game, play hoops, roast marsh-mellows, have a picnic, and take part in all kinds of water activities. brbrInside, there is plenty of space to hang out together in the living room or family room. The dining room table seats 10 and table in the adjacent kitchen seats 6. Just outside the dining room is the deck which can seat 5 more or so. Many folks enjoy the piano room where they have singalongs with the family. There are also lots of nooks and crannies in the home where you could enjoy some quiet time away from the group. Of course, you could also do a little sunning at the beach while listening to the lapping waves, hang out on the new spacious deck there or relax in the lawn under one of the large shade trees. brbrThe beach is all small flat rocks(shale) and has a deck and 45 foot dock. There are some stairs (approx. 20) from the lawn to the beach area. The new deck is about 1/3 the way down from the lawn. The water is very clean and there are no weeds in this area. It's crystal clear and you can easily see the bottom. It's a nice gradual walk out into the water and is about three feet deep at the end of the dock, which is great for kids- no drop offs. There are two kayaks with life-jackets for your use. For extremely large groups, we also own another home a short walk away with three bedrooms and sleeps 10 that you can inquire about. Auburn is only a quick drive (a few miles)away, so it is very convenient for shopping, restaurants, parks,etc. There are many things to do in the area depending on your interests.

What a nice, peaceful place for a family getaway! Owasco Lake is one of the more undiscovered finger lakes, so if it's a little R&R you are looking for, this is the spot. New central air so no worries about being uncomfortable on those hot summer nights.... We also recently finished a large remodel to the first floor living area and kitchen. It is now one big open floor plan with fabulous views of the lake! The cottage now has new cabinetry, soapstone countertops, and all new appliances. There is a bedroom and full bath on the first floor and three small bedrooms and a half bath upstairs. brThe lakefront here is very clean and great for swimming and water activities, not to mention the excellent fishing! Use the two kayaks on site, rowboat, fish off the dock, bring your own boat or rent a motorboat from a nearby marina. You are sure to catch perch, bass, pike, trout, and maybe some walleye. The level beachfront, along with a gradual walk into the water, make this property perfect for people of all ages! brThis early 1900's cottage has had new flooring installed throughout and has updated baths. Brand new couches and all new high quality mattresses in 2019. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake from anywhere on the first floor or lounge on the spacious lakeside deck with comfy dining and patio furniture.
