This home is simply the best of island living, as it is pure relaxation and fun, while only a quick 4-6 minute boat ride from 3 marinas, a public boat launch, a small grocery/liquor store, a wonderful restaurant and other amenities. brbrThe house location is perfect for boating, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, water skiing, or just sitting on our private deck, on the hammock or beach and swimming from our easy walk-in to the sandy lake bottom. The home's 180 degree views are simply stunning! brbrEnjoy the cozy 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, outdoor shower, and open concept living and dining room bathed in sunlight and with sweeping views of the lake. Hear the call of the loons as you wake to take in the sunrise, enjoy your coffee on the large deck, head out fishing, or wherever your day takes you. Keep an eye out for the frequent bald eagles and herons! Loonrise is located above a quiet cove 6 miles west of Wolfeboro on NH's largest lake. The ,main house has 5 bedrooms with queen or double beds - three on the second floor with air conditioners and two on the first, including a room with bunk beds. The cozy lakeside sleeping cabin has twin beds but has no electricity or plumbing. There are two full bathrooms in the main house. The fully equipped kitchen comes with an electric stove, microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. There is also a propane grill on the 40' deck, facing the lake. Bed linens and towels are provided and there is a washer and dryer in the basement.br There is a media room with wifi, HDTV with Roku, a DVD player and DVD collection. There is no cable tv. It has air conditioning, two couches, a recliner, a rocking chair and table with four chairs. This room is separated from the main house by the “mud room” and allows noisy activities to be contained. Loonrise's library has children's and adult books.br Two one person kayaks with paddles and life jackets are also available.brRenters are welcome to bring their own boat, as rental includes use of one side of the 30' dock. There is parking for 5 cars on Barber Pole Road above the house. There is no parking directly by the lake.
