Welcome to our camp perched on the shores of 1st Connecticut Lake. Inside has been nicely updated for comfort and amenity while keeping to the original charm and nostalgia of when it was built in the 50's. Walk in to a large landing area and drop all your bags to take in the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The open concept great room and dining area allows for the entire group to gather and make lifelong Pittsburg memories. The kitchen is a step back in time with original pink Formica countertops, a wall mounted can opener and every kitchen gadget your grandmother most likely ordered from a Fingerhut catalog. We love it this way and hope you do too. There's no dishwasher except for whomever draws the short straw after meals are done. The loons will sing you to sleep in the three bedrooms that sleep 6 comfortably. We've updated all the mattresses and bedding for added comfort and coziness. Walk out onto the expansive deck off the kitchen to grill, watch the sunset and stargaze at night in front of a propane firepit. Walk down to the beach for a day in the lake to kayak, skip rocks, fish, swim or float. In the winter ice fish, downhill tube or take your snow machines out for a day's run. We have kayaks, a SUP, tubes and a canoe for your lake enjoyment. At this moment we do not have a dock, this is on the project list.
