Only minutes from Glacier Park, and Glacier International airport, this spacious home is steps away from the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. You will be transported back to the early days of ranchers and settlers in Montana while enjoying the comfort and modern conveniences of today. Secluded and quiet with only the birds and the sound of the river to break the silence. Your days can be filled with hiking the miles of trails in Glacier, visiting the historic Lodges, fishing the lakes, rivers, and steams or just relaxing on the deck overlooking the river. Bicycles, picnic supplies, fishing gear. games, books, DVD's, TV, WIFI, Direct TV, Netflix and phone service are available. There are many golf courses to choose from in Columbia Falls, West Glacier, or Kalispell, as well as rafting, fishing, camping and an abundant variety of wildlife. Only a few miles from the west entrance to Glacier Park. There are three bedrooms and a loft. The master bedroom on the ground floor has a queen size bed; upstairs there is also a queen size bed; the third bedroom upstairs has two twin beds. The loft has a full sofa bed. The master bath and the bath upstairs are equipped with showers. The powder room is on the ground floor,adjacent to the office. All electric kitchen includes stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator and is fully stocked with dishes, silver, pots and pans. Loft area has a game table for cards, games, and puzzles. The extensive library is filled with Montana history, including early settlers, cowboys, ranchers and miners, along with books for children. The river that runs in back of the property provides fishing, boating, rafting, and bird watching. Eagles and Osprey can be seen from the porch fishing for trout. Glacier Park is minutes away with the Going To The Sun Highway, a national source of pride, transporting you through the mountains, ending on the East side of the Park, where the great plains begin. Visitors can stop at all of the lodges, some offering boating, golf, swimming and hundreds of miles of hiking. The nearby towns of Kalispell Whitefish and Bigfork offer great shopping and gourmet restaurants. The town of Browning on the East side of the Park has an extensive Indians of the Plains Museum as well as a casino. The North American Indian Days Pow Wow is held in Browning the second weekend in July.
