There is a beautiful rock fireplace (non-burning) but still a beautiful statement piece, kitchenette, a queen size bed, queen pull out sofa and a dining table in the main cabin. The back sitting area has beautiful river views along with a twin sleeper sofa. The only thing you need when you come to our cabin is food, charcoal (if needed) and toiletries. The kitchen is fully stocked with what you may need to cook a meal and the linens and towels are also provided. There are several wineries and a canoe/raft outfitter within a mile away or bring your own canoe or kayak and float from our local access Birds Nest right down to your cabin. We are now offering our Goldfish cabin to be rented with our Koi Cottage. This is a one bedroom cabin with full bath and Roku TV. With the Goldfish cabin, we can accommodate 6 or if a couple is interested in having their own private space. This cabin is only rented in addition to the Koi cottage. The rate is an additional $70 per night. It is furnished with linens and towels, coffee pot, filters, creamer and sugar. If you are interested in adding the Goldfish cabin, I will send a separate payment request. brThe Koi Cottage is a single level living, no stairs for easy access. It starts with a large concrete patio with fire pit, table and chairs, charcoal grill. brOff of the patio there is an outdoor room where you will find a wood burning stove, chairs, The outdoor room is surrounded with windows to enjoy the outdoors from the warmth from within. brWhen you walk indoors, you enter the living room with satellite TV, comfortable reclining couch and love seat. We also have a large selection of books for reading enjoyment.brOff of the living room is a sun room which has a futon to open up for extra sleeping and the view of the Koi pond. The sun room has cordless pull shades on all windows plus a room divider to create a comfortable sleeping area. There are nearby outfitters offering canoes, rafts and kayaks or you can just play on the gravel bar, little over a mile from the cabin. There is adequate parking at the river. Other exciting activities would include sight seeing, hiking, wine tasting, or try the new zip line at Meramec Caverns. Whatever you do during the day, you can plan on coming home to enjoy your barbeque grill, fire pit with wood and of course, your own private hot tub.brThe log cabin features a full front porch looking out over the valley, a large rear deck with a lower hot tub level, private bedroom with queen size log bed, private 3/4 bath, kitchenette, and living room with a flat screen TV offering Roku or DVD player with a library of movies. The 3500SF home sleeps 22 and provides an upper-level and a lower level each with its own kitchen, laundry room, dining and living areas, and outdoor sitting space. brbrNo extra fees for additional guests, firewood use, gravel bar access, etc. brbrGuests conveniently enter onto the property through an automated gate with digital keypad without having to exit the car. The motorized gate automatically closes behind the vehicle for additional security. The gate opens automatically when exiting the property. brbrNestled beautifully in the woods, a private 1/2-mile gravel driveway takes you past the spacious house and down to a large, beautiful and private gravel bar on the Meramec River. The house sits roughly 1/4-mile from the gate entrance and a 1/4-mile to the private spacious gravel bar on the Meramec River. brbrGuests can enjoy an afternoon of fishing or relaxing on the gravel bar and later sit by a bonfire or watch the sunset from more than 500 sq. ft. of covered deck. Free firewood provided to guests (for bonfire area only). A local floating venue can be arranged to come and pickup your group for a 7-mile float trip where you finish right at our gravel bar. There is large working dinner farm bell off the back of the house that guests love. There is ample parking located both in front and at the side-rear of the house.
