The Neighborhood: Deep in the Ozarks
Our cabin is nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks, surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest. While secluded, you are perfectly situated for both necessity and adventure.

Private Access to Shoal Creek

A Hidden Gem: One of the best features of this property is our private access to Shoal Creek. Offering our guests a serene and private connection to the water right on the 42-acre estate they can enjoy.

Nature at Your Doorstep: Whether you want to wade in the cool waters, explore the banks for local wildlife, or simply relax by the sound of the creek, it offers a peaceful Ozark experience.

RV, UTV & Camper Friendly – Private Basecamp

Easy Maneuvering: Our property features a massive gravel roundabout and a wide driveway, making towing and turning a breeze. Whether you are hauling a large RV or a trailer full of UTVs/Side-by-Sides, there is no tight backing required.

Off-Road Ready: We have plenty of secure, level ground to park your trailers and off-road toys. Being right against the Mark Twain National Forest, we are the perfect home base for your river business and trail adventures.

Covered Parking: A large, oversized eave at the back of the building provides extra shelter for your gear, side-by-sides, or vehicles.

Utility & Convenience: Our private gazebo area features a dedicated electrical panel and well-water access. It’s the perfect spot for 'dry camping' setups or keeping your UTV batteries charged and gear powered up while you enjoy the outdoors.

Note: While we provide water and electricity at the gazebo, we do not have on-site sewage or dump stations. We are located just 20- 30 minutes from the major river resorts for easy access to floating and local amenities.

Local Attractions

Our Favorite Local Eats (Steelville)

-Dairy Isle & Grill: Local Must-Try! Famous for classic soft-serve ice cream, hand-mixed shakes, and 100% Angus burgers.
-Rich's Famous Burgers: Known for unique burgers (try the Jam Burger with pepper jelly!) and all-you-can-eat Catfish on Friday nights.
-Spare Rib Inn: Great spot for classic Ozarks home cooking and diner favorites.
-Peaceful Bend Winery: Beautiful setting for wine, beer, and light fare along the river.

A Note on History
Steelville is known as the Floating Capital of Missouri and boasts a deep history tied to the Meramec Iron Works (the first successful iron works west of the Mississippi). You can explore this history at the Dillard Mill State Historic Site nearby.

Guest Safety & Wildlife
You are deep in nature! Please do not leave food outside, and be mindful of deer, raccoons, and other wildlife.

Cell signal can be spotty. Please download your maps and check-in instructions before you arrive.

We can't wait to host you at your Bohio!
