Swim, sunbathe, rent kayaks or paddle boards, go boating, biking, hiking, fishing, or climb the nearby Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.brbrThe Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail offers biking, hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing, and more. Shop in Glen Arbor or make the drive to Leland, just twenty minutes away. Casual and fine dining abound in Leelanau county, along with wine tasting at the numerous vineyards. It's impossible to be bored!brbrOur condo is a third story, walk-up unit, with an amazing view of the beach and Sleeping Bear Bay. The view is worth the price and we've been told it's the best view on the beach. Enjoy star gazing in the evening, or watch freighters ply the straits between the Manitou Islands while sipping your morning coffee. Our location is family friendly, but we are not child proofed or equipped for small children. brbrWe are between the Crystal River, and Lake Michigan, so it's just a few steps to tubing the river or sitting on the beach. We do not provide canoes, kayaks, beach club or pool access at the Homestead, beach towels, fishing gear, tubes, boats, or bikes. However, all of these items can be rented or purchased locally.
