There are bikes available for your use. There is a paved bike path on the Vineyard Haven Edgartown Rd as well as a a bus stop. The bus service is very good on the island, but it is good to have a car and we do have parking. It is easy to bike to town and beaches during the day, but at night it is nice to have a car. There are many taxis and ubers on the island as well
