We can discuss options.brbrSet on a quiet lot near the National Seashore in North Eastham, this open and spacious 5 bedroom, 2 ½ bath house is perfect for family vacations, gatherings, and reunions of all kinds. Trees surround a private fenced in yard that is perfect for outdoor games or simply relaxing after a day at the beach. The main house offers beds to sleep 10 people. Your family will enjoy meals in the large open kitchen at a table big enough to seat even more. The house has plenty of overflow space within, in addition to “The Barn”, a newly renovated guest house which sleeps another 6 and has another full bath. The spacious floor plan is perfect for families to spend time together without feeling crowded both inside, in the living room and dining area, or outside on the shaded deck. As part of the Historic District of Eastham, the house maintains its 18th century charm (built in 1795) with all of the amenities and updates of a 21st century home. Both the guest house and main house have enclosed outdoor showers, air conditioning, Wifi, cable, hardwood floors, new area rugs, and updated bathrooms. The kitchen in the main house is fully stocked with all cookware necessities and dishwasher, and there is a Weber gas grill on the back deck along with a propane fire pit. There is easy access to washer and dryer on the first floor of the main house. The master bedroom suite is on the main floor with the four other bedrooms upstairs. There is ample parking for up to 6 cars. brOur home is halfway between the National Seashore (ocean) and Cape Cod Bay. There are 16 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas available for your use, so no need to pack those. This location affords direct access to the bike trail leading to Coast Guard Beach (National Seashore). There is convenient access to a bike shop for rentals or repairs. With 7 adult bikes (a rental value of over $700) available for your use, the Cape Cod Rail trail offers bikers an easy ride to mini-golf and Arnold's famous seafood. There are numerous fresh water ponds within walking / biking distance. Eastham’s newly renovated library is a great option for something to do on a non-beach day. Shell fishing equipment is waiting for you at our home – all you need is the license! Our home is one of only a few rental properties within a short walk of the famous Coast Guard Beach, less than a mile away. The beach shuttle operated for free for walk-ins by the Park is a very short walk from our home. We are located near the ocean, the warmer, calmer beaches of Cape Cod Bay and fresh water ponds. Easy access to the bike trails and miles of walking trails.brbrOur home has a fireplaced living room, spacious eat-in kitchen, huge master bedroom, two comfortable guest bedrooms, plus the family room. There also are two updated bathrooms and an enclosed outdoor shower. (Be sure to read about the outdoor shower in amenities), The generous sized family room opens onto the large deck for outside dining which comfortably seats eight. The deck overlooks the expansive backyard for plenty of outdoor enjoyment, including a fire pit. Enjoy breakfast on the front patio with views of our perennial garden and listen to the distant sounds of the waves rolling in at Coast Guard Beach. brbrThis home has one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, a twin bedroom (daybed and a trundle) and a queen pullout sofa bed in the family room. We have added a new heat pump system with AC and heating units for each room in 2024. Our cottage offers 1 master bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 bedroom with a set of full size bunk beds. The Living Room has one queen size pull out couch that can sleep an extra 2 adults. Kitchen provides everything you need for preparing meals. Kitchen is fully stocked with all essentials. Door from the Master Bedroom lead to new large deck with grill and outdoor furniture. Perfect for grilling family dinner while watching the sunset over the water! Large community yard right outside the door, plenty of space for kids to play outside! brbrThe neighborhood is located on the cove, providing renters with the ability to access the salt water from right outside their door.You are welcome to use our kayaks and stand up paddle board! Neighborhood is off of state highway, two minutes drive/short bike ride :), to Orleans town center and Eastham beaches.
