Description

Elegant and oh so comfortable are the words that are used to describe our home. We are year round folks from Martha's Vineyard and we have a home that seamlessly matches creativity and elegance. Our bedding is luxurious, the kitchen is fully equipped and surrounded by windows so the light in the room is stunning. A farm house feel with sophistication. One long room on the ground floor...dinning room, a fireplace, living room and kitchen all in a wonderfully bright room with 11ft ceilings theplace is a magical.

We do not rent our home all the time, when we do we have 100% positive on the reviews for the folks who have stayed... perhaps because we like to book the house with the clients in full communication, so you know just what you are getting...

The two bedrooms are on the second floor; each with their own full bathroom... A friend once said... 'Lisa, I would come to MV so I could stay in your guest bedroom, it is like an English country B+B.'

Downstairs there is a half bath and of course there is an outside shower with a great shower head! There is space between the two bed rooms upstairs to sleep two more... 4-6 people, either all in one family or two couples is ideal.
The house is located in a quite private neighborhood down at the end of a dead end street. When you are in the lovely backyard, it is as if you are all alone. See the map satellite to see how close we are to Sengekontacket Pond.
If you are looking for a sweet walk to the water, just skip down our backyard path and in less than three minuets you will arrive... bring a fishing pole and you just may catch dinner...Really!

No Traffic...= Biking is a super quick ride to the beach or to town...

Just love when a rental doesn't feel like a rental. This house is great because it has all the comforts of home with beautiful attention to details. We loved every minute of our stay here...really great communal space for family dinners and hanging out. Grounds are also gorgeous! Owners are so responsive and easy to deal with. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The house is spectacular. Decorated tastefully and is very welcoming. Has updated appliances (loved the laundry room). Location is great - close to town, beaches and bike path. Owners were very accessible. Definitely would rent this house again.

I was so fortunate to be able to stay in this amazing home for a week. The owners are very accommodating and very quick to respond. The home has been decorated with an artists eye and is also so comfortable. I loved the kitchen with windows all around, chefs stove, and nice table. The living room has 2 very comfy couches, and the beds and linens upstairs are high quality. There is also a wonderful laundry room..really everything you would ever need. The home is close to the pond and close to Edgartown. I loved it!!!

Coming from abroad we (family of 4) had a great time in a truly beautiful house. The owner was extremly friendly, helpful and caring, all together a remarkable and wonderful stay at a great location. We certainly plan to come back.

A mile from town but only a 2 minuet walk to the water... and a lovely street with great privacy. Owners left loads of local information and were available if we needed; we did not need them because it was all as expected. Cozy, charming and elegant this house is not for loads of kids and not really for toddlers, lucky for us we are over that phase. ...a super welcoming house.
