It was built in the 1890s and is one of only a handful of the original homes left at Beach Point. It allows up to 8 guests to rest in three comfortable bedrooms and on a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It is charming and adorned with period characteristics including a wraparound porch, wide pine floors and wainscoting. That is not to say it isn’t modernized and updated with modern appliances and amenities. The cottage has been recently updated and has many amenities that our guests desire. Driftwood is air conditioned and has an enclosed private outdoor shower. A gas fireplace allows for cozy evenings when the weather is cool.
