Near the famous bourbon trail, rental includes full cabin and large screen porch overlooking pond with fountain. American and European antique furnishings and fine art welcome you to fully updated home with central HVAC.brbrTHE SPACE: Cabin was originally built in the late 1700s and has been updated to modern standards (electric, plumbing, HVAC) yet retains original features including stone walls, large wooden beams and original yellow poplar floors. Typical of structures of this vintage and to preserve space, the stairway to the second floor is steeper and more narrow than todays standard size; anyone uneasy with non-uniform stairs should take note. Height of doorways are also shorter than today's standards. In total, the cabin is approximately 620 sq. ft., plus another 240 sq. ft. in the attached screened porch (860 sq. ft. in total). Cabin is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and sits within the larger Tyler Rural Settlement District, also a National Historic Trust designation.brbrGUEST ACCESS: Guests will have full use of the cabin and attached screened porch (14' x 17').
