Stayed May 9, 2018This apartment had all of the amenities we could have asked for and more. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there and we would definitely consider it again if our travel brought us back to town. We were able to walk to Hadley Pottery, several restaurants and a farmer's market. It was convenient driving distance to the Science Center, Kentucky Expo and Louisville Zoo. A note for future stays: Hadley Pottery is only open for tours of the factory Mon-Thurs. the rest of the week the retail shop is open but no tours, Butchertown Market is a neat store with lots of different vendors available including high quality chocolates, the pizza shop just down the alley has great pizza and carryout is simple. The apartment welcomed us with wine and chocolate (from Butchertown Market) and everything was very clean. If traveling with small children (we had a 1 yr old with us) I would encourage visitors to bring a baby gate as the stairs are very steep and there is no door at the top of them, it opens right into the apartment. Overall, we really enjoyed the quality of our stay and were able to spend time being together as a family and not worry about anything else. We did not get a chance to take out the bikes that are available for guests but next time we certainly will! There is a lovely patio area for enjoying the evening with a small fire ring. Highly recommend!
