Or put your boat in less than 2 miles at the Big Bear Hwy Public dock and park. Enjoy the convenience of a washing machine, heating, and AC, along with 2 and half bathrooms equipped with showers. Home is all one level, with a split floor plan. Light plush carpet in living and Bedrooms so if raining or snow we ask you to remove shoes before entering this area to prevent stains. A nice level yard with huge beautiful shade trees for privacy. Watch the sun rise, the sunsets are amazing reflecting off the water. We added a firepit area close to the lake with plenty of vintage outdoor seating. We look forward to hosting you at our place. House is surrounded by woods with a view of the lake. It is a very quiet location and private which is nice. Spacious wrap around porch so can enjoy the view of the lake and and enjoy the wildlife that Western Kentucky has to offer. House also has a very spacious two bay garage that will house boats for those who are coming to fish or those who are coming to live the Lake Life. The Loft on Bluebird Hill is a little place to get away on the Lake. Waterfront with a sloping yard to the lake. We welcome you to the 2nd level guest house with a beautiful deck to watch the sunsets. There is a covered carport on the road side to park fishing boat under if need. Designated parking. This is a great place for a quiet getaway to relax. You can catch red ear and crappie, and bass right off the dock. The water is very low in winter. So you may want to rent slip at one of the 4 close marinas. There is a nice double public boat ramp, and public park area less than one mile away in the Big Bear bay on Kentucky Lake. There is a black golden doodle on property, and a few chickens in the hen house. We keep them up when guest are here. free range eggs at your request. brYou have a seperate entrance on the second level deck. We respect our guest privacy, realizing this is your place to get away from the hustle and bustle. You will love watching the Eagles, bluebirds, pelicans, and wild geese in the back yard. Or set on the swing on the dock and watch the boaters. There is a patio area to grill. This is a great bay to kayak in. br The kitchen is stocked, dining room with Big picture windows that look out onto the lake. The stained glass windows adds beauty. The bathroom is a little small with a tub shower unit. Older farmhouse remodel, still have a little squeak in the old wood floors. brBluebird Hill is in an excellent location. Located in the Big Bear Bay behind Malcolm Creek close to Moores on the water. The Rock Quarry is across the lake. And just 7 minutes from Draffenville, 12 min from Benton. Enjoy a day out to Paducah which has lots of shopping and restaurants, 30 Min. away. You are 20 Minutes from Grand Rivers. brAnd Approximately 1000 sq ft. Living space. The Buffalo Bison farm is not far. Turkey Bay is where people ride side by sides is 20 min away. Land Between the lakes is Bike trails. brThe original owner named the farmhouse setting on hill. The family ask we not demolish the home. So we promised we would make improvements' to the home. 2000 square foot private Kentucky lake front home. Beautiful views of Jonathan Creek Bay from every room. Great kitchen with granite countertops. 20x 35-foot great room with floor to ceiling windows facing the lake and wood burning fireplace for chilly nights. Deck and screened porch facing lake Good wi-fi. Sits on approximately 3.5 acres plus TVA land. Great for families, duck hunters, fishermen, etc. Long term rental welcome as well. The house sits directly facing the lake at the end of a long driveway. We have a lot of wildlife including deer that are there all year, pelicans that are there off and on from Sept through May, and bald eagles that begin appearing in Oct to repair their nest in the pine tree by the driveway in the front yard. The eagles begin nesting in Jan. and both of them plus eaglets are often seen from late Feb until May. The nest is easiest to see from the landing of the stairs leading to the dock. If you look back from there over the top of the house, you can see the nest in the top of the pine tree. We also have the usual assortment of birds plus a family of pileated woodpeckers. If birdwatching is not your thing, fishing is available from the dock from April through Sept. You can also just relax with a good book or hike in the woods. At the end of our road less then 1/8th of mile away is ATV trails and we are 9 miles from Turkey Bay.
