A recreation room can also be found in the lower level of the home. In addition, there is a two car attached garage as well as ample parking on a large U-shaped driveway for all guests.

The Loft on Bluebird Hill is a little place to get away on the Lake. Waterfront with a sloping yard to the lake. We welcome you to the 2nd level guest house with a beautiful deck to watch the sunsets. There is a covered carport on the road side to park fishing boat under if need. Designated parking. This is a great place for a quiet getaway to relax. You can catch red ear and crappie, and bass right off the dock. The water is very low in winter. So you may want to rent slip at one of the 4 close marinas. There is a nice double public boat ramp, and public park area less than one mile away in the Big Bear bay on Kentucky Lake. There is a black golden doodle on property, and a few chickens in the hen house. We keep them up when guest are here. free range eggs at your request. brYou have a seperate entrance on the second level deck. We respect our guest privacy, realizing this is your place to get away from the hustle and bustle. You will love watching the Eagles, bluebirds, pelicans, and wild geese in the back yard. We stopped renting the past couple years because our family has been using it because we love it so much, but we've opened it back up for 2026 and the summer dates were opened in March of 2026. brThis Condo is part of The Dens condos at Big Bear Resort. It is 3 bedroom, 2 bath with an additional vanity in each spare bedroom (handy for washing face / brushing teeth). King bed in the master with a connected bathroom, queen bed in one room, and two bunk beds (twin over full) in the third. Washer and dryer, under counter ICE MACHINE, and dishwasher in the condo. There is a roll away twin bed and a pack and play available for your use as well!brYou will have access to all of the amenities that Big Bear Resort has to offer including access to a swimming pool, a sandy beach right outside the condo, gazebos, fire pit right on the water, and rental opportunities at the marina (pontoon, speedboat, fishing boat, paddleboat, knee board, tubes, skis, etc.) The view from the patio of this condo is one of the best on the lake, you have a perfectly unobstructed view of the main lake from a convenient screened in porch. The condo is on the first floor, so you have easy access and will not have to worry with stairs (minor 2-3 steps to front entrance and garage entrance). If you'd like a boat slip, the marina has low cost nightly rental slips for your use as low as $15 / day. I've also left a couple yard games for your use, Bocce Ball, Corn Hole, and the resort has a volleyball net and basketball court. There is a Blackstone grill in the garage. A keurig coffee pot is also available in the kitchen. brbrYou will not be disappointed in this relaxing, luxurious condo. brbrThe specifics of the slip rental fees are located at the Big Bear Resort website, or you can call to rent a slip... they have covered and uncovered slips available.brbrI have found it very easy and convenient to reserve the slip, if you need any help with this please just let me know. brbrPreparation for your stay:brWe will provide starter toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry pods, and small hotel style soap/shampoo/conditioner. 2000 square foot private Kentucky lake front home. Beautiful views of Jonathan Creek Bay from every room. Great kitchen with granite countertops. 20x 35-foot great room with floor to ceiling windows facing the lake and wood burning fireplace for chilly nights. Deck and screened porch facing lake Good wi-fi. Sits on approximately 3.5 acres plus TVA land. Great for families, duck hunters, fishermen, etc. Long term rental welcome as well. The house sits directly facing the lake at the end of a long driveway. We have a lot of wildlife including deer that are there all year, pelicans that are there off and on from Sept through May, and bald eagles that begin appearing in Oct to repair their nest in the pine tree by the driveway in the front yard. The eagles begin nesting in Jan. and both of them plus eaglets are often seen from late Feb until May. The nest is easiest to see from the landing of the stairs leading to the dock. If you look back from there over the top of the house, you can see the nest in the top of the pine tree. We also have the usual assortment of birds plus a family of pileated woodpeckers. If birdwatching is not your thing, fishing is available from the dock from April through Sept. You can also just relax with a good book or hike in the woods. At the end of our road less then 1/8th of mile away is ATV trails and we are 9 miles from Turkey Bay.
