If you are looking to explore all of the many hiking opportunities, Cave Run Lake, visit Morehead State University or just relax on the porch, this is the perfect place for you.brbrWe are happy to provide...br - Free 1 GB high speed fiber optic WiFi service.br - Personalized keyless entry.br - Central A/C & Heat.br - Keurig Coffee maker w/starter set of pods.br - Antibacterial wipes, Paper Towels, Aluminum Foil, assorted spices.br - Complimentary toiletries, hairdryerbr - washer & dryer in the cabin w/ starter pack of detergent br - indoor & outdoor gamesbr - Fire pit (wood not provided. Do not gather wood on property)br - Dog friendly w/ fee. br - 2 dogs max.br - No more than 50lbs each.br - Dogs must be in crates if left alone in the cabin. Please do not allow pets on furniture or beds. Additional cleaning charges may be applied. br - Pets must be indicated at time of booking. Additional charge of $100 will be added plus the daily pet fee for each pet brought but not included when booking.brbrParking:br- Gravel parking is at the top of the driveway can easily fits 3 full sized vehicles and more if needed.br- Trailer parking is available (approx. half way up the driveway is a flat open grassy area that can be used to park a boat trailer and tow vehicle). 4 wheel drive should be used when parking in the area. The ground can sometimes be soft in the area. Do not take trailers to the top of the drive unless you are comfortable backing them back down. you will not be able to turn around at the top.br- The gravel driveway takes you up an approx 9 - 10 degree grade. 2 wheel drive vehicle can make it up this drive in normal weather conditions. Keep your momentum going until you are completely to the top.brbrThings to know:br - The cabin comfortably sleeps 4 guests and can accommodate up to 6 guests total for an additional fee per guest (per day). Please be sure to book the correct number of guests before checking in.brbr - This is a wooded area and there is always a chance that any of the wildlife native to Kentucky (animals, reptiles and insects) may pass through the property. We hope you enjoy any experience you may encounter and provided them with the distance and respect they should receive. Please do not feed any animals.brbr- Please do not leave any food or garbage out and make sure the grill is clean and closed when not in use as these can attract visitors.brbr- We actively treat the cabin and property for pests including bees, wasps and hornets. We do our best to keep them away from the cabin, but please be aware they can be in the area. If they do show up it tends to be on the balcony off the smaller bedroom. (There is a sting aid kit in the first floor bathroom medicine cabinet.brbrNOTE: This cabin, while offering wonderful accommodations, is in a rural area and can occasionally experience strong weather conditions or power outages that are out of our control. We will do everything we can to assist, but are not responsible for issues beyond our control. We do have flash lights and power banks in the cabin to help charge phones and electronics in case of an outage as well as a Yeti cooler for you to use during your stay.

The Cozy Cabin is located near many area attractions that are within driving distance including Morehead State University, Sheltowee Trace Trail, Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park, and Carter Caves State Park.brbrThe cabin has an open area on the main floor with the kitchen, living room, and dining room. A bathroom and laundry room are also on the main floor. Two sleeping areas with new beds and outside balconies are upstairs. One queen bed and a full bed will sleep 4 easily but there is room for an air mattress if additional sleeping areas are needed. A new HVAC system was installed over the summer.

Sunset Cottage is located among the farms and fields of Morehead, KY. Conveniently situated off of I-64, within 10 minutes of Cave Run Lake, App Harvest, Ind. Stave Co., and Morehead State University. This newly remodeled 2-bedroom home has 1 queen, 1 full, and1 twin bed to comfortably sleep 5 people. A quaint living room with an electric fireplace that adjoins a fully furnished kitchen and dining area. The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator and stove, pot/pans, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, and much more. Sunset Cottage also has a full-size washer and dryer in home. All linens and towels are provided as are all paper products. The outdoor space includes a gas grill with an outdoor dining area overlooking the green pasture fields. The front porch is the best place to catch that evening sunset while relaxing in a cozy rocking chair or on the porch swing. There is plenty of parking at Sunset Cottage with lots of room for your boat or travel trailer. We do have security cameras in place for your protection. There is one camera on the front porch facing the front door, one on the corner of the front porch facing the side door and parking lot, and one on the back corner of the housing facing the back yard. It is self-check-in at the cottage and before arrival you will receive the Key Code to the front door.
