Chalet is furnished with a lovely mix of antiques and designer furniture, giving you an at home and cozy atmosphere. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Full view from the kitchen and great room. Smart TV's with fire sticks. Swing, dine or rock and read on the wonderful back porch or head through the grassy lawn to the fire pit and dock for fishing, swimming or boating. Dock has four slips and a public ramp is just down the road. Gas grill also available. Because we have two cabins available, the cabin will show available unless both are rented. We provide a kayak and paddle board free to our guests.

The Moody Family for whom Moody Hollow is named built Adanaylah some time in the early to mid 1950. We love the history and natural resources of the Southern Appalachians and that love is reflected in the decor of the cabin. Many of the antiques in the cabin date to the 19th century from the Appalachian regions of Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina. While the cabin may be over half a century old, all the appliances, plumbing, and electric are new. We are now happy to be able to share this magical place with others. Adanaylah is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). brbrOn the main floor, there is the living room, dining area and kitchen all open to each other with a central gas log fireplace for those winter nights. Two bedrooms are located just off the living room and share the bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Out the back door is the large screened porch with a swing and rocking chair. Beyond the porch is an open-air deck with seating around the table for four. The gas grill is around the corner under the front porch roof.brbrThe third bedroom, the only television and the washer/dryer are located downstairs. Please remember that there is no live tv. The television has a DVD player and there is a small movie library. You can only watch DVDs on the television! Access to the downstairs is through the screened porch and down the stairs. Be sure to take the key!brbrInteresting Facts The cabin is perched over 2000 feet above sea level but just up the road is the highest point in Georgia, Brasstown Bald, which rises to 4,784 feet! Welcome to the Tree House Lodge. If you are looking for the ultimate getaway in a true log home, privately nestled amongst the trees in the mountains of Hiawassee Georgia, this is it! The Tree House Lodge is a unique mountain style log home with soaring 25 feet vaulted ceilings, a native stone fireplace, and all wood floors and ceilings. The main level has two luxurious bedrooms with an adjoining full Jack and Jill bathroom. Each bedroom on the main level has private access to the wrap around deck and hot tub just outside your door. This level, as well, has a fully equipped kitchen, stove with air fry oven, refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, hand built knotty pine cabinets, corian counter tops, and a beautiful copper backsplash. There is a screened in porch off of the king bedroom where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or beverage while hearing the relaxing sounds of nature and the babbling creek. The living room has a wraparound leather sofa, a cozy propane fireplace that is lit by simply turning the timer as you sit and watch your favorite show/movie on the 4 K Smart TV with Blu Ray DVD player. The lower level has two luxurious bedrooms as well, with a unique rustic style full bathroom. It also has a game room with regulation size slate billard table, air hockey table, and theater style area with a 65 smart television where you can watch your favorite show or movies on satellite or Netflix. There is a laundry room off of the king bedroom on bottom level with stackable washer and dryer. All bedrooms have a flat screen TV. The mountain lot is wooded with a creek at the back of the property. When you are on the deck, the tops of the large trees are within reach, making one feel that they are truly in a treehouse. The Tree House Lodge is conveniently located within minutes to Lake Chatuge, Bell Mountain, and Brasstown Bald-which is the highest mountain in Georgia.
