We love to go down to touch the water and feel how cold it is, get a fire going, and catch up and laugh until we run out of firewood. On a hot day, we take the plastic Adirondack chairs and set them right in the river while we enjoy a cold beverage. Or bring a tube and go for a float right from your own patio, walk back and do it again. We do have two smart TVs, although we hardly ever watch them.brbrIf we have already grilled out one night and want to go into town to eat, our favorite upscale restaurant is Butcher and Bottle. There is a charming town square with great shopping, a wine bar, and a new rooftop bar and restaurant with great views. There are plenty of casual options as well. brbrIn the mornings, whoever gets up early makes the first pot of coffee and gets to enjoy some peace and quiet out on the porch swing while listening to the birds.
