The Neighborhood:

🌿 This cabin puts you in the heart of Ellijay's natural beauty, with Carter's Lake boat ramp, a waterfall hike, and a mountain bike trail just 5 minutes down the road. Enjoy sweeping mountain and river views right from the property, which is set on a USACE Wildlife Management Area, offering a serene escape.



☕ Downtown Ellijay is a short 15-minute drive, where you can explore local shops and eateries. For more charm, The Town of Blue Ridge is 30 minutes away, offering additional dining and shopping options.



🏞️ Explore the region's stunning state parks, with Fort Mountain State Park only 30 minutes away and Amicalola Falls State Park within 45 minutes. You'll also find several delightful vineyards within a 30-minute drive, perfect for an afternoon outing.



🛶 Adventure awaits with whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River just an hour away. Day trips to Dahlonega, GA, the Tellus Science Museum, or even Chattanooga, TN, are all within a reasonable drive, offering a variety of experiences for every traveler.



Getting Around:

🚗 A car is essential for navigating Ellijay and the surrounding North Georgia mountains. The property includes a driveway with space for up to 4 vehicles. Roads in this area can be steep and winding, so plan accordingly.



🚕 Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft may have limited availability in Ellijay, especially outside of the main downtown area. Booking a taxi in advance for specific trips is another option.



✈️ The closest major airport is Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA), approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is a larger hub, about 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours drive.



🚴 Ellijay offers opportunities for biking, particularly mountain biking with trails near Carter's Lake, 5 minutes away. Walking around the immediate property is possible, but sidewalks and pedestrian paths are not common outside of downtown areas.



Other Things to Note:

▶ This apartment is privately owned and does not include maid service or daily cleanings. The cleaning fee covers a final cleaning (after your checkout).



▶ Unregistered guests are not permitted.



▶ Pets are not allowed.



▶ No parties. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 9:00 am. Significant noise or playing loud music after 10:00 pm will result in you being asked to leave without a refund for the remaining time of your reservation.



▶ Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the apartment and in any areas connected to it, including the balcony, entryway, windows, shared hallways, or any part of the building's premises that may affect other residents or guests. If there is any evidence of smoking, a $250 penalty will apply, and your reservation will be terminated immediately without a refund for any unused nights.



▶ Check-in is at/after 4 pm and check-out time is no later than 11 am. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability. Late check-out without prior approval will result in a fee of $100 per hour for each hour after 11 am.



▶ During check-in, you will find towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper provided for your convenience. Please note that we do not provide additional supplies during your stay, so we recommend planning accordingly.



▶ Please note that moving the furniture in the apartment is not permitted. Violation of this rule can result in a penalty in the amount of $250.



▶ TRASH: Place trash in bear proof trash bin inside fenced area outside the kitchen door. To open the bear proof trash bin lid, push buttons on each side of the lid latch simultaneously and lift up.



▶ Do not flush paper towels, wipes, trash, or feminine products down the toilet. Please use the bins instead. If it is found that something has been flushed and clogged the septic system, you could be charged damages.



▶ Our properties are professionally cleaned and treated regularly for pests. Due to the local climate, occasional insects may enter the home despite our best efforts. Please let us know if you experience any issues, and we'll address them immediately.
