The master bedroom has an incredible, private balcony that opens up through a set of glass French doors that overlooks the Coosawattee River. The sound of the rushing river below carries right into the bedroom. There is a wraparound deck on the main floor that includes an electric grill, ample seating, a game of ring toss and hot tub to soak away all of your cares! The back deck overlooks the Coosawattee River below. There are some rustic and rugged stairs that will lead you down to the edge of the river where you can hike, explore and enjoy the rushing river up close. The Coosawattee River Resort, where Rushing River Lodge is located, has something for everyone. There are approximately 15 steps from the parking area that you will travel down to reach the cabin. The light streaming through the leaves paints patches of sunshine on your path as the Cartecay River tempts you to walk on down to it's cool, clear water. As you pass the fire pit, you look forward to the coming dusk and fantasize about a cozy fire with your loved with gentle river sounds intertwined in your conversation. The magical walk down to the cabin has your expectations high for what awaits you through the door.brModern furnishings in neutral tones blend seamlessly with the backdrop of the forest you see through the wall of windows.
