The entire house and the half acre that it sits on is yours to enjoy.brbrThe home's outdoor area is surrounded by mountain and desert views. Enjoy a cup of coffee or sit and watch the sun set after a long day. The property includes hammocks surrounded by Joshua Trees. Soak in the private hot tub while star gazing at night.brbrAt night the landscape lights turn on which create a beautifully lit pathway to the many outdoor areas, in addition to lighting some of the Joshua Trees on the property. It's truly a peaceful place to enjoy.brbrThe hot tub is one of our favorite parts of this home. Soothe your achy muscles in the warm water at the end of a busy day hiking or walking trails in the Joshua Tree National Park. When the sun sets, there are spa lights and high/low jets that can be adjusted for your enjoyment.brbrOur home is dog friendly! There is a large fenced off backyard. We allow up to 2 dogs to stay at our home per stay and will charge an additional fee of $40 for the entire stay. Please keep in mind that Joshua Tree is home to many predatory species of wildlife including: coyotes, rattlesnakes, hawks, scorpions, spiders, and rodents. Please do a quick walk around the backyard area before letting your dog out to play, especially in summer months when snakes are more common. Also, there is currently an owl nesting in one of the Joshua Trees in the back. Please keep an eye on your dogs at all times.brbrCook a meal in the full-size kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, dishes, flatware, cups, wine glasses, wine opener, cooking supplies, etc. There is seating for five at the dining table (indoors) and ample seating outside at the picnic table. We kindly request all guests to shower, and avoid using bodily oils, lotions, or other products that can affect water quality in the spa. Failure to do so may result in the accumulation of dirt, debris, and contaminants in the water, which can compromise the overall experience for all users. ● Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. ● Proper swim attire is required in the pool and spa. Street clothes and denim are not permitted. ● For the safety and comfort of all guests, no pets of any kind or size, including dogs, are not allowed in the pool and spa area. ● Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub and pool. The consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited in the pool and spa area. ● Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area to prevent accidents. ● No Food, or eating or drinking (except water) is not permitted in the pool. ● Running or rough play is not permitted in the pool area to prevent accidents. ● Please do not stand or sit on hot tub or cowboy pool cover. ● Please heat the hot tub with cover on and do not add hot water from the stove, it will damage the hot tub. ● No Floatation Devices. Large floatation devices, rafts, or toys that may obstruct others are not allowed in the pool. ● No Splashing. Do not splash water outside the spa to maintain a safe walking surface. ● No Jumping. Jumping into or out of the spa and cowboy pool is prohibited. ● Please leave spa covers on and secured after use. Spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight. ● Diving is not allowed in the cowboy pool or spa. POOL & SPA SERVICE - The hot tub and pool is serviced every Thursday by our maintenance pool company who will access the backyard and be in and out quickly. Usually guests don’t even notice him, but just a heads up in case you see him servicing the spa.

HOT TUB: There is no lifeguard on duty. You swim at your own risk. People can drown or be severely injured by improper use of the hot tub.. Guests agree to assume full responsibility of themselves and their guests (or invitees) and hold the hosts, homeowners, agents, property managers, and any successors harmless of any and all liabilities or claims for their use of the hot tub.
