This bright and sunny house is tastefully designed and updated to offer functionality and aesthetics. You'll have access to fast wifi and dedicated driveway parking for up to two cars.brbrThis is a single family house sitting in a corner lot, with a small backyard and a big front/side yard. The 1,100 square feet home features two spacious bedrooms (king bed in one and queen bed in another), a full bathroom, a half bathroom, and a full-size sleeper sofa. The bedrooms are partitioned from the kitchen, living room, and dining room to offer additional privacy and seclusion. This home is filled with natural light in the day time. Inside one of the bedrooms you'll find a desk setup that makes for a cozy workspace, perfect for working from home.brbrYou'll find a fully equipped kitchen to make nice and full meals. We've got you covered with pots, pans, plates, silverware, salt and pepper, cooking oil, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and more!brbrFor coffee lovers, we have a full coffee bar to satisfy your caffeine fix with a choice of dark roast, medium roast, and decaf (pictures coming soon!).brbrLooking for some family fun We have brand new board games for you to enjoy with loved ones. brbrChill out in the living room - whether you want to enjoy a cup of tea sitting on the rug in front of the 4K smart tv (with Roku TV), or have a fun conversation on the comfortable sofa, you'll fall in love with the warmth and tranquility inside this house. brbrYou have access to the washer/dryer in case you need them during your stay. Other amenities include blow dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tissues, cotton swabs, makeup remover, and more.brbrWe're making our home completely eco-friendly. For example, we recently replaced the gas-powered furnace with an ultra-efficient heat pump that offers both cooling and heating. In early 2023 we'll be installing solar and battery storage to minimize environmental footprint of the house. We have more projects in the works, each designed to ensure that if you decide to stay with us, you're making a statement to better our planet.brbrYou’ll have access to the entire house.brbrNestled in a residential neighborhood, The Laurel Pad is a short walking distance to grocery stores, Hillsdale Shopping Center, restaurants and cafes, and Caltrain station. If you'd like to explore nature, hop on a car and within 10 minutes you'll arrive at the beautiful Sawyer Camp trail in Crystal Springs Reservoir. For picnic or a peaceful afternoon stroll, the vibrant San Mateo Central Park and the charming Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City are just minutes away.brbr1. We recently installed central air conditioning for the warm summer days.br2. Fireplace is decorative only.br3. Bathtub in the full bathroom does not have a drain stopper thus not properly set up for a bath. That said, you’ll have everything you need to take a comfortable shower (hot water, shampoo, conditioner, body wash).brbrThings to note:brbr1. The house is not child proofed and may not be safe for children and infants.br2. No smoking of any kind on premise. Any smoking activity found on premise will result in an additional $1,000 for deep cleaning and odor removal service.br3. No pets on premise. Service animal requires an additional cleaning fee.br4. Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.br5. No shoes in the house (please bring slippers! Think Japanese style).br6. No parties or events. No video shoots for commercial purposes.

Cooking grease, bacon fat, or anything that solidifies when dumped into the sink drain is not allowed. These items must be disposed of separately in the garbage. Guest(s) will be charged for any plumbing repair work, or unclogging, due to their abuse of the plumbing.brPARKING: Please park in front of the house or in the driveway (do not block sidewalk). Please inform all members of your group staying with you.brQUIET HOURS: 10PM - 8AM - Our neighborhood is extremely quiet, please be respectful and keep your noise level down. I want you to enjoy your stay. I hope that you love this home as much as I do.brGARBAGE: Guest(s) will assist with garbage service. Thursday evenings place 3 driveway garbage receptacles at the curb in the street for pick-up Friday mornings.brHOUSEKEEPING: For bookings of more than 30 days, guests agree to use and pay for regular housekeeping, weekly or bi-monthly, as needed. The minimum regular housekeeping charge is typically $150 per visit (3 hrs approx), but may be more depending on condition at $50 per additional hour. Guests are expected to do their own personal laundry and dishes. Please do not leave clothes in the washer/dryer and/or dirty dishes/pots in the sink or on the stove on housekeeping day. Housekeeping will launder linens and towels, make beds with clean linens, and general cleaning will be performed. brGARDEN / PROPERTY MAINTENANCE: Gardener arrives bi-monthly, usually on Fridays, to mow, trim and perform general garden maintenance. Guest(s) shall not interrupt gardener when visiting the property. If the gardener is denied access to the property by guest(s), guest(s) will be billed a $75 rescheduling fee.brCHECK-OUT: When you check out, the house is to be in the same condition as when you arrived. Any damaged or missing items will be applied against your deposit. You do not need to do laundry (bed linens or towels) or clean floors when you check out. Please do not leave dirty dishes behind. Place them in the dishwasher and turn it on before leaving. Please wash all pots and pans after use and put them away. Your $150 cleaning fee paid in advance only takes care of general cleaning. Cleaning time beyond general, noted above, will be $50 per additional hour applied against your deposit. brRULE VIOLATION FEES: Unless previously authorized, this house is not to be used by more than the number of people listed on the acceptance of this rental, this includes daytime guests. If this rule is not adhered to, there is a minimum fee charged of $1,000 per day. If there is unauthorized filming, photography, or parties at the property, the minimum fee charged is $5,000 per day. There are to be no parties without prior authorization. When you accept this rental invitation you are agreeing to these rules. Additionally, guest(s) violating occupancy limits and/or creating excessive damage to the property may be asked to vacate before their stay has concluded.brEARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT: When possible, I may allow early check-in and late check-out for an additional fee of $60 when scheduled in advance of check-in/check-out.brLATE CHECK OUT WITHOUT NOTICE: Guest(s) will be charged $60 per hour for each hour past scheduled check-out time. It is advisable that guest(s) check-out when scheduled.brEARLY CHECK OUT BEFORE BOOKING ENDS: It is advised to only book the amount of days you plan to stay. Once your booking begins, you may check-out early anytime by simply letting me know you have vacated the property.
