While a bit farther, this is a dog and human paradise where dog owners can enjoy coffee and snacks while their pups socialize)brFood and drinks:brArlington market - 0.3 milesbrCatahoula Coffee - 1.4 milesbrDozens of restaurants with 4 stars and above on San Pablo Ave - 1.2 milesbrOur favorite cafes and restaurants are on Solano Ave in Albany, CA - 5.5 milesbrSightseeingbrSan Francisco downtown - 16 miles. Although traffic in Bay Area can slow down access to the city, it only takes 20-30 min to drive to San Francisco when roads are clear. There are two ways to drive to the city: via the Bay Bridge and via the Richmond / Golden Gate bridges. This helps when there is heavy traffic on one of the routes. BART is also a great way to get to the city and the station is 5 min drive from the house. It is also accessible by bus.brUC Berkeley - 10 milesbrMarin County - 16 milesbrNapa Valley - 30 milesbrSix Flags Discovery Kingdom - 18 miles brbrAs a frequent traveler myself, I appreciate places like my home that allow you to get the feel of real life and avoid tourist traps.
