Cute 3 Bdr Home W/ Pool/Spa & Amazing Views In Malibu Mtns. 15 Min From Beach

Enjoy this cute 3 bedroom home with majestic views, amazing summer pool* and Spa/Hot Tub. We are 5 minutes from Calamigos Ranch and Cielo Farms. This is an ideal destination for wine tasting, hiking, mtn biking, cycling and beach going. Can also be used as a jumping off point to other Los Angeles/Ventura County destinations or just relaxing in peaceful seclusion. We are 15 minute from the beach and 10 minutes from the 101 freeway. Experience the magic of the Santa Monica Mountain Range all year round. brbr*Pool is season and weather dependent as it is mainly solar heated and only able to be heated from around mid April thru mid November. Typically on a sunny day from April-June and then again in October and November the solar heater will heat the pool to between 70-80 degrees by early afternoon. During the Months of July, August and September the solar heater can usually keep the pool around 85+ degrees all the time. The pool CAN have supplemental heating by a propane heater at guests request for a $50 per day fee. The propane supplement can raise the temp by 8-12 degrees by the early afternoon. The pool is uncovered and does not continuously heat over night so during the colder times of the year it can cool off by morning and then have to be re heated each day. brbrThe spa is available all year long and heating the spa is complimentary with your stay. However the spa is also uncovered and is not kept continuously hot. The spa can take 15-25 min in summer months to reach a max temp of 104 degrees and can take 45-75 min in the winter months to get to max temp.brbrbr **REVIEWS**brbrThe 12 reviews that are attached to this listing are reviews from The Cottage which is the guest house on this same property that I hosted here before the Woolsey Fire in November 2018. This current listing is for the new Main House that was rebuilt in 2024 and is located at the same address so it has the same access, wonderful views, vibes and host ;-).brbrGuest access:brbrGuest have use of the entire home except for the two car garage which is not for guest use and may be used by owner during guests stay. This will not impact guest privacy. brbrPark anywhere near the main house but please park in a way so I will be able to pass through the parking/turn around area at the main house and/or be able to pull into the garage if needed.brbrGuests have exclusive and private access to the approximately 1/2 acre fenced yard that surrounds the pool/home as well as the parking/turn around area. Guests may also wander the 6 acre property. The trellised deck with grape vines on the top next to the old horse trailer is a nice sunset spot. There may be other guests staying in the camping trailer so please be mindful of everyone's privacy. There is a propane BBQ and propane fire pit under the oak tree that is available for guest use. No other open flame allowed on property as we are in an extremely high fire danger area. This home actually burned down in the Woolsey Fire in 2018 so everyone is very on edge about fire risk.brbrGuest interaction:brbrI'll usually give my guests space and let them check in and check out on there own but I am always available for question or concerns and am always up for socializing. This is a great place to write, use as a base camp for recreation adventures, do yoga, plan local wine adventures, or just chill. There are a couple homes on adjacent properties fairly close but you will feel like you are peacefully secluded and privately tucked away in your own mountain world.brbrGetting around:brbrIf you do not have your own transportation Uber and Lyft are an option. There is a parking pad at the bottom of the driveway that is available for lower clearance, smaller vehicles. There is finite amount of a propane in a tank that is stored at the property. If you overuse appliances that utilize gas the propane tank will be depleted within 2/3 days. We ask that you are mindful of this and do not run the pool heater, fireplaces, BBQ and other gas appliances for prolonged periods of times. The Propane company will receive an alert when the tan reaches 30% and will be dispatched to come to the property within 24 to 48 hours. Holidays and weekends may affect these hours. brbrbrbrLos Angeles Municipal Code Section 41.50 B 18 bbrbrHigh Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAWbrbrYou are in a high brush fire zone.
