This home was incredible. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. I'll start with location - it's perfectly situated in the center of Silverlake and completely walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. Plus, there's a parking spot, which made a huge difference for us. Every morning I walked to one of the coffee shops Tamara recommended (she gave us a great list of recommendations around the neighborhood). The home itself is stunning. It's incredibly spacious, and we woke every morning to beautiful views of palm trees and the LA skyline. The views from the main bedroom and living room are quintessential LA. Even better in person. Another perk - there's a home office with complete privacy. We spent a full month there and can't wait to come back. Would highly recommend it!

One of the bedrooms offers an in suite bathroom.brbrThe neighborhood, Elysian Valley, is home to the Frogtown Art Walk, Women's Center for Creative Work, delicious sandwiches at Wax Paper (Get the Lakshmi Singh sandwich), great coffee and bike repair at Spoke Bicycle Cafe, awesome beer at the Frogtown Brewery (I like their stout), and excellent food at Elysian and Salazar. You can even go kayaking in the river and end up back at your house! All this is just a walk or short bike ride away with your dog/kids/friends along the LA River Path at the end of the street! This is your chance to join this wonderful community. I am currently living here and can attest to all of this.brbrFun Facts: Can bike into Griffith Park without ever getting near traffic, using the river-side bike path. This home is located minutes to Silverlake, Echo Park, Atwater Village, Chinatown, Downtown and Highland Park- in a nature setting with an abundance of parks.
