Longer vehicles like a pickup can fit with garage door open, but it is tricky to maneuver in and out of the spot. The area in front of the garage is spacious and and easy to get in and out of your car, but the driveway and garage spot are narrow. Our front tenant uses the other garage spot. No parking in front of garage or in driveway. If you cannot park in the reserved garage spot or have more than one car you will need to park on the street. It is free with street cleaning once a week on each side of the street. During the day street parking is usually easy but gets a little bit crowded in the evenings.brbrWe will supply a good amount of starter supplies of everything you'll need--all soaps, paper products, cleaning products, etc., however please note replenishing supplies with be up to guests during their stay.brbrThis is a duplex with 2 units/1 shared wall. We have special sound-reducing insulation between the units but it is possible you could hear the other unit at times. Please note as it is an older building, you may hear some sounds like water rushing when the other unit is using water fixtures.brbrPlease note that our neighboring building on the right side has their back doors along our driveway (4 units). Our neighbor on the other side has some dogs that tend to bark when new people come or go into our garage.brbrQuiet hours need to be respected from 10pm-8am.brGuest accessbrGuests have full and private use of the entire unit. Even though the unit itself is fully private, please note this is a duplex which is attached on one wall to another unit and the backyard is reserved for the other unit. One reserved parking spot in the garage (must park in the garage itself, no parking in the driveway or in front of the garage).brOther things to notebrThere is a ring security camera outside the front entrance which is always on and records upon motion detection.brbrPlease note: this is an attached unit and you will hear the neighboring tenant at times. There is also some typical street noise during the day. We provide a white noise machine for your comfort.brbrThis unit is in a diverse neighborhood representing people of a variety backgrounds.brbrPlease note there is no luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. If you'd like early check-in, make sure to request it in advance. In most cases we cannot offer it, but we will be happy to let you know in case it is possible (though we may not be able to let you know either way until the morning of check-in in many cases). It is EXTREMELY rare that we can offer late checkout, but if you request it in advance as well we will let you know if it's possible. Requests the morning of for late checkout are not possible due to the need to schedule our cleaners in advance.brbrGuests are solely responsible to check themselves for personal items and remove them before check-out. If any items left behind are found, we take NO responsibility for their safekeeping in any way. The Diplomat`s House with shared beautiful yard with pool, spa and fire pit. The entire downstairs floor of the house is all yours. This space is nestled in the heart of the historic and diverse residential Wrigley neighborhood in Long Beach. Light filled, with plants and funky artwork. No extra guests (4 Max), and no parties or events.brbrPlease keep in mind this is a shared property and there are two other rental units on the second story of this house and the pool house is rented separately.brbrThe home was recently renovated with high-end appliances, original artwork, smart lighting, fresh paint and marble tile in kitchen and the bathroom. Small luxury bathroom has dual shower heads, and a bidet.brbrGuests have access to the pool, hot tub, and back yard areas. Rooftop deck is shared with other guests.brbrOur family lives in this house, and occasionally rents it out when we are on vacation. There are two other rental units on the second story of this house (accessible by their own outside stairs), and one rental house at the rear of the property.brbrThis space is nestled in the heart of the historic and diverse residential Wrigley neighborhood in Long Beach. It`s close to the beach and to Downtown Long Beach, and it`s not too far from all of the fun in Los Angeles and Orange County.brbrThere is free street parking available, but it can be difficult to find a spot at night, just like most areas in Los Angeles. Uber and Lyft are your best options for getting around Long Beach.br- 1. I`ve put a lot of love and care into creating a comfortable space. Please just respect the space. - 2. No Smoking or drugs inside. - 3. Please turn off the Air Conditioner/heater, lights and the TV when leaving the room. It is not economical to have it running all day. - 4. No Photo Shoots, No Filming. - 5. No events, parties or large gatherings (no extra guests for pool/spa). - 6. Please let us know if anything is broken so we can repair or replace for the next guest. - 7. No pool/spa after 10PM. The main backyard is a common area, for all guests to share and use the pool, spa and fire pit - so just use common sense. - 8. Reserved parking spot in front of house for you.
