The neighborhood felt very safe, with many conveniences within walking distance. The Amazon Alexa was a nice touch. The house was a wonderful mix of 100 year old charm and modern updates. It contained everything we needed--a lot of space, very comfortable bedding, cool decor--plus the most thorough coffee/tea set up we have ever seen. The owners were by far the best HOSTS we ever had. They were very charming and helpful, providing a lot of information about the house and the capital hill area, ensuring we had everything we needed to have a great time. Capital hill is in the middle of a lot of cool things to do so the location was ideal. The house had 2 offstreet parking spaces which by itself is incredible. The house is really spacious, with separate living and dining rooms, nice furniture, and a massive kitchen that has all the equipment you could possibly need. The upstairs bedrooms are large, comfortable and quiet, despite the proximity to H-Street, which has lots of nice restaurants and shops.
