We are one of a kind on this part of the river. My favorite part of our property is the privacy and the river access. Our remote 2.8 acre property sits on over 300 ft of White River bank frontage. King’s Landing on the White River is all yours if you book from this listing. We have vacant lots on both sides of us so kids can play and adults can turn up the music without disturbing others. There are two buildings on the grounds. They can be rented separately in a different Vrbo listing, but are combined in this specific listing. We call one building the Lodge (The individual Lodge VRBO #ID is 1617688 .) and the other building is the Bunkhouse (The individual VRBO ID # for it is 1558580.) Both buildings are hooked up to an on-demand generator year round so if electricity was to be interrupted for any reason your heat, air, and other electrical needs would continue to function as normal.brbr The Lodge has a large master bedroom with a king size bed. Joining the master is a large master with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. This master also has an outstanding view of the river, and opens up onto the gorgeous back porch that sprawls across the entire length of the back of the lodge. The porch can seat 10 or more guest easily, and is a great place to gather. There is a second bedroom in the Lodge with a queen bed and one single. The lodge has a guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo. We have two dining tables that will seat 8 or more guests. The living area and kitchen have beautiful views of the river and access to the back porch. The living room has a couch, two swivel chairs, a big screen TV, and two recliners. The kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, oven, & dishwasher. We call this building our “Lodge because of its stunning hickory floors and breathtaking views of the White River.brbr The Bunkhouse has a nice covered deck that makes it perfect for viewing the river. It has two bedrooms upstairs that will sleep 8 to 10 people depending on their size. Also, upstairs is a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, bathroom with shower/tub, and a living room with two couches and a TV. In the downstairs of the Bunkhouse is a bedroom with a no stair entrance. It sleeps 4 guests and has a bathroom with a shower included. Also, downstairs is a game room with a pool table, and pocker table, big screen TV, and lots of seating. Two garage doors attach to this game room to allow an open air feeling if the weather permits. brbr We have a unique grassy landing located right on the river bank. A staircase leads down to the landing from the top. The landing has 2 pavilions, a private boat ramp, swings, and fire pits. If someone in your party doesn't maneuver stairs well, it is possible to drive them to the landing in a 4 wheel drive vehicle or a side-by-side, if you wish to bring one.brbr Be sure to bring your fishing pole if you can because the White River can't be beat for catching trout. Guest can easily access fishing off the bank or by unloading their own boat at the private boat ramp (4x4 vehicles are recommended). We can provide names of several wonderful fishing guides. Your fishing guide can pick you and your group up and drop you off here. Guides can be hired for full days or half days and some guests pay for a shore lunch as well. This is something we highly recommend because these guides can cook! brbr When you get back from fishing we enjoy helping you keep the good times rolling. This property is perfect for outdoor cooking and making memories. We have several grill options. Let the fire in the fire pits roll as you watch trout jump and the fog move in. Firewood is on site and is covered under the minimul heating fee charged at checkout. Bring your s'mores because we have fire pits on the top and the bottom level. Your group can enjoy peacefully relaxing with family and friends in the large area outside overlooking the river.brbr If your schedule allows, make your stay long enough to enjoy some very unique local attractions. Bullshoals Dam along with the lake attractions are within 30 minutes. Your group might want to enjoy a meal from several great restaurants in Bullshoals. The Jim Gastons Visitors Center and the Bullshoals Dam have spectacular views and superb historical exhibits making it a must see local stop. The Bullshoals Lake Boat Dock rents bass boats, house boats, etc. Numerous antique stores can be found within a 50 mile radius. Mountain View has a special down home country charm to it. You will find pickin' & grinnin' on the square, and Blanchard Springs Caverns there. That is about 1.5 hours away. You might also enjoy floating the Buffalo National River or hiking at the Point where there are numerous well marked trails. The world famous Branson, MO is also within 1.5 hours. Branson offers its famous Silver Dollar City amusement park, go-karts, mini-golf, shows, and lots of shopping.brbr Our location is remote, if you like easy access to grocery stores or restuarants we might not be the best choice for you. We are about a 20 minute drive to town. However, we believe we are worth the drive and the peace you find here can't be found even in a small town. We have room for your group to spread out, throw a soft ball, freesbie, or horse shoe. We have WIFI through Starlink. We do offer ROKU streaming and provide HULU, Disney+, ESPN, Paramount+, and a few more. As owners, we believe the highlight of your trip will be slowing down and enjoying our beautiful property with family and friends.brbr Some of our guests have enjoyed having meals catered. We would like to welcome you to our home. If you need a fishing guide we highly recommend Cox's Guide Service @ #870-706-1648. There is some of the most amazing wade fishing and fly fishing and kayaking right in the backyard. The home is a 3 bedroom 2 bath 2580 sq. ft. home with a large concrete patio area overlooking The White River and Bluff views. There is a fire pit (FIREWOOD NOT PROVIDED), a charcoal grill (CHARCOAL, LIGHTERS, LIGHTER FLUID NOT PROVIDED). There is a picnic table, plenty of outdoor furniture, 2 big decks and a covered carport. The home sits on 1.33 acres. We have 200’ of riverfront that we keep mowed and maintained. This home is not equipped with wifi. We have all the amenities of home including a 50” TV upstairs and a 55” TV downstairs with Dish, a DVD player with lots DVDs. Our home sits on The White Hole stretch of The White River which is World Famous for producing Trophy Trout! There is ample room for parking. This home is equipped with a Generac generator, so no matter what Mother Nature dishes out, you will not be without electric. The home is so close to everything, but yet private, peaceful, and quiet. We are literally surrounded by wildlife. We love sitting on the deck in the morning having our coffee watching the fog burn off the river. It’s an amazing way to start your day. We are constantly catching Browns, Rainbows, & Cut Throats off our property! There is plenty of room to fly fish, also. It is easy to launch kayaks and canoes from the property and drift down to The White Hole public access which is only 3/10 of a mile from the home, which has a free public boat ramp to launch your boats. Also, only 6.8 miles from the home is a great access to Bull Shoals Lake where we catch numerous small mouth bass, large mouth bass, walleye and an occasional striper. The lake is full of numerous fresh water species. It is a clear water lake that is great for snorkeling, scuba diving, spear fishing, and all boating activities. We also love watching the wildlife from the deck. We see Bald Eagles, golden eagles, great blue herons, and geese. We also see red fox, chipmunks, and deer. We are just a short drive from Historical Cotter, The Trout Capital USA, which is a small historical town with a couple of cafes, The1930 era Rainbow Bridge. Also Flippin has a Walmart Supercenter and a couple of fast food places. Gassville has numerous fast food places, convenient stores, Mexican food and Bbq, burgers and pizza! Mountain Home, which is just a little farther from Gassville, has pretty much anything you could need or want in a little town, including great shopping and 2 movie theaters. Bull Shoals sits on the lake and has 2 huge marinas. It has a state park with canoe rentals, hiking and fishing. Also in Bull Shoals are the Bull Shoals caverns. It has a couple of great cafes, bakeries, and a pizza place! It also has a couple of more upscale restaurants. Canoeing and kayaking on any of the many rivers in the area are breathtaking. Our favorites are the White River and the Buffalo River. There are plenty of trails for hiking, caves for spelunking, and antique shops everywhere.brThe property has plenty of room for children to run and play safely. Family fun is just a short drive away through the beautiful Ozark Mountains to Branson which is just an 1½ - 2 hours from the home. Bring the whole family to this custom log home on a 14-acre slice of heaven in the Ozark Mountains on Arkansas’ famed blue ribbon smallmouth bass stream “Crooked Creek” Just (3) bends upstream from the confluence of the White River. Fish, swim, kayak, snorkel on our 1000’ of creek frontage. The kids and whole family will have a blast. The water level on the creek is constantly fluctuating dependent solely on the rainfall and spring water received upstream. Many times, I have docked my 20’ topwater boat below the house (spring). Others we have kayaked from the lower access off HWY 101 back to the house (late spring, early summer). And other times we just enjoy swimming and snorkeling around the natural springs that feed the creek and wade fish (late summer). Ranchette White River access is about (4) miles down the road, so bring your boat if you’d like to trout fish, or we can put you in touch of one of the many guides in the area that can pick you up right at the ramp according to the bite. House accommodations state 12, and that is utilizing (1) person on the pull out couch in the game room and (1) person on the log futon in the Master bedroom. please contact host if you have more, as we always try and accommodate. House is approx. 4000 sq ft with (3) levels. Large soaker tub/glass tile shower in the master bath, (6) person hot tub on the lower level. This log home is at the very end of the road and behind a locked gate, it is very secluded. Fishing is stated as “catch and release” as we are in a smallmouth bass trophy zone. Cell service is low (1-2 bars), but we now have Starlink WIFI, and it has been exceptional! We have been on face time, streaming 4K, email, social media, etc.! So, if you need to work remotely, you should have no problem, we even have a dedicated office area with additional HDMI dell monitor! We are thrilled you are taking time to view our rental. It is truly one of a kind on this part of the river. This remote 2.8 acre property sits on 300 ft of White River bank frontage. It has a large master bedroom with a king size bed. Joining the master is a large master bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. This master also has an outstanding view of the river, and opens up onto the gorgeous back porch that sprawls across the entire length of the back of the lodge. The porch can seat 10 or more guest easily, and is a great place to gather. There is a second bedroom with a bed and one single. The lodge has a guest bathroom with its own tub/shower combo. We have two dining tables that will easily seat 8 or more guest. The living area and kitchen have beautiful views of the river and access to the back porch. The living room has a couch, big screen TV, two leather recliners, and two swivel chairs. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook with all new appliances. We call it the “Lodge” because of its stunning hickory floors, and breathtaking views of the White River. brbrThere is a charcoal grill, a gas grill, and cook box with a few cast iron pots/skillets for guest staying at the lodge to use. A fire pit is also close by. brbrIn the backyard guest will find the river bank just a few steps from the back porch. By a few steps we mean a staircase leads down to the water’s edge. The landing has a large pavilion, two wooden swings, a concrete boat ramp, grilling area, and another fire pit. If someone in your party doesn’t maneuver stairs well, you can drive them to and from the landing below in your own 4x4 or side-by-side. brbrIt is possible another group could be staying in the Bunkhouse during your stay. The Jim Gaston’s Visitor Center overlooks Bullshoals Dam. It has spectacular views and superb historical exhibits making it a must see local stop. The Bullshoals boat dock is a great place to rent bass boats or house boats. Numerous antique stores can be found within a 50 mile radius. Mountain View is known for their down home country charm, their pickin’ and grinnin’ on the square, and Blanchard Springs Caverns. It’s all about 1.5 hours away. Canoeing the famous National Buffalo River at the Point or hiking their well marked trails is a favorite of many local residents. That is about a 40 minute drive. The mouth of the Buffalo River opens up into the White River a few miles below King’s Landing. If your looking for a more challenging hiking situation the National Buffalo Wilderness Area has 30,000+ acres, and is only a short distance away. We recommend only experienced hikers and hunters tackle that area because of its rugged terrain. The world famous Branson, MO is also within 1.5 hours with music shows, amusement parks, go-karts, mini-golf, and lots of shopping available.brbrWe are truly unique. We have the room for your group to spread out, cast a hook, pitch a soft ball, throw a freesbie, or horse shoe with room to breathe. We do have WIFI through Starlink and streaming services. Our lodge sits in a private remote location with just one other separate building on the grounds. The road to it is paved, except for the last 3/4 of a mile. This short portion of the road is flat and allows for oncoming traffic to pass without anyone backing up. Our Bunkhouse has a nice covered deck that is perched above the White River with a bird’s eye view. There is a smaller pavilion below with more seating. The Bunkhouse has three bedrooms with sleeping arrangements for 14 guest. A fully stocked large kitchen, seating for 10 plus TV trays to dine. On the second upstairs floor there is a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. On the lower floor there is a refrigerator, coffee maker, full size bed, and a single bed. The bottom floor also has its own bathroom with shower and outstanding views of the river. In addition, on the bottom level there is a game room with pool table, big screen TV, poker table, and lots of seating. This area has two garage doors that can be opened while guest are watching TV and enjoying games.brbrOur unique grassy landing is located right on the river bank just a few steps from the Bunkhouse. By a few steps, we mean a staircase leads down to the landing that gently slopes to the water’s edge. The landing has a pavilion, wood swings, a boat ramp, grilling area and another fire pit.
