Our rural, quiet, park like setting is just a few minutes away from the White River in Cotter with quick and easy access to all the areas attractions. Our one level guesthouse has a large yard, abundant deck space, outside grills/smokers and a fully stocked kitchen. We have newly installed Fiber internet with WIFI access and a brand new laundry area with new full size washer and dryer. The circle drive provides ample free parking for your vehicles and boats with water hose outlet and electrical charging available for your boat/battery needs.brbrThis is an awesome like new 1100 square foot guest house that offers a lot on a budgeted price. The great room is huge with several comfortable and clean couches. The back deck is shaded and allows for beautiful back yard views all the way down to the campfire area. The secure deck area also provides a large outdoor padded patio set that seats four at the table and gives you a large outside cooking area with multiple grills and smokers to include a Traeger pellet grill. There are bird feeders throughout the property and we draw in many species of them to include the amazing seasonal hummingbirds that dine at our feeders. The Big Tatanka is the perfect place to experience the Ozarks. This gorgeous 2 story home sits on the bank of the White River at Buffalo Shoals in a private setting with walk in access to the river, allowing you to enjoy one of the most beautiful locations in the Ozarks. The Big Tatanka offers plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your stay. The home sleeps 15. The main level includes dining for 15, a full kitchen, a large great room, 3 full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a deck overlooking the river. The lower level offers a 2-car garage, 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, a large great room, foosball table, refrigerator, microwave, and patio. For the more adventurous types, the home is approximately 2 miles to a Buffalo National River hiking trail, approximately 6 miles to the Ranchettes public boat launch on the White River, and approximately 9 miles to a public launch access on the Crooked Creek. Bring the whole family to this custom (3) story A-Frame on a 37-acre slice of heaven in the Ozark Mountains on Arkansas’ famed blue ribbon smallmouth bass stream “Crooked Creek” Just (2) bends upstream from the confluence of the White River. Fish, swim, kayak, snorkel on our 2000’ of creek frontage. The kids and whole family will have a blast. The water level on the creek is constantly fluctuating dependent solely on the rainfall and spring water received upstream. Many times, I have docked my 20’ topwater boat below the house (spring). Others we have kayaked from the lower access off HWY 101 back to the house (late spring, early summer). And other times we just enjoy swimming and snorkeling around the natural springs that feed the creek and wade fish (late summer). Ranchette White River access is about (4) miles down the road, so bring your boat if you’d like to trout fish, or we can put you in touch of one of the many guides in the area that can pick you up right at the ramp according to the bite. House accommodations states (10), please contact host if you have more, as we always try and accommodate. House is approx. 2200 sq ft with (3) levels. Both bathrooms have walk in glass/tile showers, and a (6) person hot tub under the suspended house. This A-Frame is on its own private drive, behind a locked gate, and it is very secluded. Fishing is stated as “catch and release” as we are in a smallmouth bass trophy zone. Cell service is low (1-2 bars), but we now have Starlink WIFI, and it has been exceptional! So, if you need to work remotely, you should have no problem. We also have (1) canoe and (3) kayaks on the property with paddles and (5) universal adult life jackets (please bring your own kids life jackets) If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and inquire further about this property!
