This beautiful home has everything you could ever want for the ultimate vacation and get away. It is located on the White River which offers world class trout fishing year round. It is in the middle of the national forest, in a very small subdivision along the river. brbr*The cabin is located down a 3 or 8 mile gravel road, depending on which direction you come in from. brbr*We do encourage guests to buy groceries before coming to the cabin. brbr*The nightly rate up to 4 people is $250. For each person after four there is an additional $30 per person per night fee. There is a 15% discount if the stay is 7 or more nights. brbr*Pets are allowed only with prior approval. If approved, there is a $50/dog fee with only 2 small dogs allowed. Dogs will need to be kenneled if left unattended. brbr*The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to make a meal except the food! (Crock pot, air fryer, hand mixer, electric griddle) There is both a 12 cup coffee maker and a Keurig. br*Coffee and filters are both available to guests. At the moment, the ice maker is broken and guests will need to bring ice if they want any.brbr*A charcoal grill is provided. Boats can tie up to poles in the river. We do not recommend keeping a boat tied up overnight because the river level can change quickly.brbr*There is a large bunk room over the garage (that can be accessed only with 5 or more guests and additional fee). It includes a large bedroom with queen bed, a queen bed in common area and 3 smaller rooms with a total of 5 twin beds, and a full bathroom. This area sleeps an additional 9 guests with the added fee.brbr*Guests have access to a separate laundry room. It has 2 washers, 2 dryers and laundry detergent. brbr*Cell service is very limited and there is not a landline at the house. The downtown square has great folk music and fun. It is approximately a 30-40 minute drive through the National Forest. brbr*There are several waterfalls close by as well as several hiking trails through the National Forest. There are excellent back roads for ATV's, you can go forever and never see a person!! brbr*Mountain Home is a 30-40 minute drive and offers shopping and numerous restaurants, churches, hospital, movies and just about anything you would need. brbr*Norfork lake is approx. 20 minutes away and several docks have pontoon and jet ski rentals. brbr*The Buffalo National Park and River are close and a trip down the Buffalo is always a treat, as well as a view of the Arkansas elk herd.brbrThe nightly rate up to 4 people is $250. It is truly spectacular!brbrAt our VERY PRIVATE AND ROMANTIC place on the Piney, you can easily kayak down a nice long stretch with NO rough water or rapids and turn around and easily paddle back, or keep on floating (ask us about that)! Great fishing along the way. We rent kayaks to our guests.brbrRustic, cozy, romantic, cabin with screened-in porch. Cabin has EVERYTHING you need for a romantic getaway for 2-4 couples or perhaps fishing buddies longing to catch some beauties! Property is not child-friendly.brbrScreened in porch has a ceiling fan, table/chairs, outside-type lounge and rocker, and shelves for your use.brbrThe cabin has two spacious rooms with 2 bathrooms (one has tub/shower combo--other has a shower stall) and is completely furnished: stove, fridge with top freezer, washer/dryer. There is a split-system heat/AC, and an additional window AC, and ceiling fans in each room. Kitchen area has coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, crock pot, rice cooker, dishes, pots 'n pans, silverware, dishtowels, etc. brbrWe supply all linens, even creek towels.brbrBedroom has KING bed--extra pillows. There is a very comfortable sofa and recliner/rocker as well as a queen sofabed with foam pad in the living room.brbr2 bathrooms--don't forget about that wonderful outside shower with hot water!brbrSmart TV, with DVD, hi-speed internet. Most cell phones now have WiFi calling that will allow you to pick up our WiFi signal to make cell calls. Cell signals are erratic everywhere in the Ozarks. If you cannot pick up a signal at the cabin even using WiFi calling, there is usually a good signal at the intersection of Reb Lane and Boswell Rd if you need to make an important call. brbrWeather in the Ozarks affects power and cell signals too--very often the outage is quickly restored; however, be prepared to live without TV and phone--just part of the charm of life in the Ozark boonies! brbrOutside there is a nice picnic table with umbrella and a propane grill. Hammock too!brbrIn the mood for stargazing and roasting marshmallows A wonderful fire pit awaits you! Free cut firewood ready for your romantic evening! brbrThere is NO trash service available in this area. Guests must take trash with them when checking out of cabin.
