My husband and i needed a peaceful getaway and this couldn't have been a more perfect place. The cabin is lovely and just as described and very clean! We enjoyed the grill and fire pit but the star of this property is Piney Creek which runs just just a short walk from the cabin. The water is crystal clear with bluffs all around. Absolutely beautiful. We waded and fished only catching one small mouth bass but it was ok, we were just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Mitch met us at the cabin upon our arrival just to show us some things around the cabin but then left us for the weekend. Very nice guy and quick to respond if you have a question. I would highly recommend at least an suv or truck with high clearance, the road to the cabin can be rough as you are off the beaten path to get to the cabin which adds to the charm, you are out in the middle of nowhere!! We did not have children with us but is perfect for kids too. There is a sandy area in the creek that would be perfect for swimming for all ages. I can't think of anything else we could have needed, book this cabin, you will not regret it!!

A couple buddies and I rented this place for the weekend to get away and hangout. This place was absolutely perfect. It’s very secluded, You really can get away from it all here. The property is beautiful and the cabin is extremely clean and comfortable. The owner was fantastic, accommodating and very easy to deal with. My group of friends gets together once or twice a year and this is one of the better places that we have stayed, if you want a secluded place to chill out this is the place for you.

Genuinely an amazing experience. We had a full 52 acres of the forest to ourselves and never saw nor heard another soul. We spent the entire weekend hiking up creek and floating down on inner tubes and it was a blast. I’d say it was a once in a lifetime experience that we were lucky to have, but the owners made this super accessible and despite the driving distance for us, we’d definitely consider coming back.

Everything excellent…..fee for maid service was super high…..everything else was excellent….would recommend this getaway…definitely a 5 star !

This cabin location is just what we needed to get away and reload! Secluded, beautiful, kid friendly and the stream in the back is amazing! It’s definitely a place to stay if you want to disconnect from the “real world” and relax, enjoy nature! Our host was as nice and polite as could be. Showed us everything! Was always a text or phone call away! Which he did not get bothered on our stay bc it was so peaceful and beautiful! I would 100% recommend family and friends to come here! 7/10-7/13

This is our second time staying at this cabin. It is very remote, but that’s exactly what we wanted. The cabin is simple and very clean. The creek was the highlight of our trip- a perfect spot for hot July days! Our eight year old didn’t want to leave.

Extremely relaxing and comfortable. Safe and cozy cabin where my kids were able to roam and have an amazing time playing with sand and running around the yard. Much needed vacation time with the family! Truly enjoyed it and will return again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay - it is VERY REMOTE. The negatives would be the driveway/road to cabin, which was treacherous and almost like a side-by-side ATV adventure rental. Please note that with that said, we had compassion for the hosts considering the recent natural disasters, but we felt like a bigger effort could have been made by the hosts to make sure the driveway directly to cabin should be safe for their clients and not damage the client's vehicle. Also, the whole having to get rid of your own trash was a big nuisance. My conclusion would be that if you are considering staying here, plan on staying at the cabin and not getting out much as it is just too much trouble getting up and down driveway. The creek was nice and the reason we booked this particular location, but we will stay closer to town next time. Also, there are sparse curtains/shades in the upstairs rooms and downstairs. It would be nice to have an option available for privacy concerns. I would recommend staying here but be aware of these issues and know in advance what your potential issues will be.

We could not have picked a better place to stay!This Cabin is amazing ! You can see the creek and hear the creek from the cabin and it’s only a short walk. The creek is perfect for swimming or fishing! The cabin was very well stocked with anything you will need ! It’s very comfortable and the porch is awesome to sit on and just listen to the water.!

We had a wonderful relaxing time at Piney Creek Cabin. The canbin was very clean, had everything we needed for our stay. We felt at home. The Host was very nice and we had great communication. I call this cabin a little peace of heaven on earth.

The property is simply amazing inside and out. We had 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 4-9) and were all very comfortable in the cabin. It has all the amenities you would hope for in a kitchen to make meals, including a crockpot, which we did use! Everything was very clean and orderly. Communication with the owners was very quick leading up to and during our stay. They have simple check-in and check-out instructions with very detailed directions to get to the cabin. Mitch was extremely helpful showing us around the property and rented us kayaks on our last day. We enjoyed playing and fishing in the creek and exploring the area surrounding the cabin. We made many memories with Gma and Gpa that will last a lifetime. We hope to be back in the future and recommend to all.

The weather didn’t cooperate but we still loved our stay. We saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed our privacy. The cabin reminds me of my grandmas house, cozy and comfortable. It has everything you need. I hiked all over the property. There are several trails to enjoy. And it has WiFi which was a bonus since we rarely had cell service and my husband had to answer work emails. It was a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much we plan on making it a yearly trip! From guided trout fishing to caves at Blanchard Springs Caverns and of course kayaking with Mitchell was amazing. The creek was perfect for small children without having the stress of worrying about deep water. Great trip!

This was exactly as advertised. Communitions with the owner are quick, easy and accurate. This house is off the beaten path, away from the world, and perfect for a time to break away and relax and refresh your soul. We cannot wait to return.

The cabin was in an amazing location. Completely secluded and quiet. The creek was beautiful, clear, and so much fun for the kids to swim in. As described, the driveway can be difficult. (Definitely take a 4 wheel drive vehicle.) The cabin was clean and just as pictured. The kids loved the loft area and games. We would definitely stay again.
