Stayed Sep 29, 2025We truly enjoyed our time at the Riverhouse. Diane is the BEST! When we arrived the house was cool, clean, and smelled fabulous. Everything we needed (except food) was there. We spent every evening on the dock and watched the otters swim. I loved setting on the porch where it was quiet and peaceful. The only draw back was we ride Goldwing trikes that set low to the ground and the private road to the house was rocky but we learned to maneuver around the rough spots no problem.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025We have a busy life and we were so happy to have had a wonderful, quiet, restful stay! The scenery was beautiful and it was so nice to have met Diane, who when we ask for anything to make our stay more comfortable, she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again and are planning to this fall!

Stayed May 3, 2025Had a great time as always, the Hostess is the best and most accommodating!! The house is well equipped with everything you need for cooking and if you accidentally leave your shampoo at home this was our second time to go there and we will definitely be back

Stayed Oct 25, 2024The Riverhouse was clean and had all the comforts of home! This area is beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and viewing the fall foliage so much! Loved the screened in porch and having our own dock to use. Looking forward to coming back soon! Thanks Diane!

Stayed Jun 25, 2024We stayed here two years ago and couldn’t wait to return. Calico Rock is incredibly peaceful and the house has all the comforts of home. We look forward to patiently waiting for the beaver or river otters to make their appearance morning and evening. Our host communicates so well and is incredibly kind.
