Stayed Jan 25, 2026I’ve stayed at this cabin a few times when visiting family in Calico Rock. It’s an exceptional place to stay. So very comfortable and homey. Cynthia, the host, is thoughtful and kind and very communicative. I love it and hope to stay there again next time I visit.

Stayed Aug 26, 2025This is a truly amazing property with a wonderful, kind host. The house is beautiful, spacious, and outfitted with everything you could possibly need. There is amazing art throughout the property, from a rainfall shower tiled with herons to a happy frog craved into the bottom of the banister to the upstairs. Both times that I have stayed here have been due to challenging family situations, so it has been so lovely to have this haven to retreat to. And the host has been so accommodating both times with scheduling changes and making sure that we had all the amenities that we needed. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Stayed May 22, 2025Beautiful property with lots of planted and wildflowers. From the front porch I was able to watch them feed. Fun to stay in a log home with artistic touches all throughout the interior and even the exterior. Just a few minutes from Calico Rock.

Stayed Nov 13, 2024Cannot begin to say how much I enjoyed my stay at this delightful cabin near Calico Rock. It’s so very comfortable and the layout and amenities were perfect. The decor is warm and artsy and creative. No doubt a reflection of the owners spirit. A very relaxing place with great energy inside and out. I stayed about two weeks to do work but it is conveniently located as a vacation base. It was truly a pleasure and I look forward to a return visit. Thanks Cynthia. Also, extra bonus of an adorable neighborhood kitty who visited regularly?.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We will definitely be staying at this cabin again, when we want a real retreat to get away from it all. This artistic cabin makes you feel like you're in another time and place. This is a perfect cabin for LARPing, playing a weekend of board games or having a goblin core getaway. Watching the stars, strolling the grounds, the peace and quiet here is perfect but still accessible. Perfect place to write your Great American Novel, too. Historic, atmospheric, but still with all the amenities. A unique experience.
