It was private and parking was great. Very quiet and a good place to relax and enjoy some cold weather! If someone should come and is not used to VRBO, then since Covid a lot of the simple things aren’t there (not any ding on the host). Salt and pepper and a couple of throw blankets. We have been doing this a while so either those couple of things are there or not. We just bring our own just incase.ample kitchen space and utensils, towels etc!

Aspen 3 was a great place to be introduced to the beauty of Greer. The positives: the cabin was VERY clean! The minisplit worked very well. We loved spending time playing in the front area with hammock as well as the lit area behind the cabin at night. Water pressure was good, water heater worked quickly. The cabin does have some kitchen gadgets and tools for us to have home cooked meals, though a full sized pasta pot and full sized strainer would have been nice. I enjoyed having the Keurig available to make coffee each morning. Communication from staff was very good on the following things, the negatives: The queen sized mattress was severely dipped, I was worried that the bottom bed slats had broken. But the mattress springs and box spring support had just worn in so much. My husband slept on that bed, I slept on the bottom bunk and my son slept on the top. The bunk mattresses were perfect, the frame was incredibly sturdy. While the cabin is updated, the materials they used were, um, cheap. The floor isn’t level, it’s super hollow, you can hear and feel every quiet step. But the bathroom is solid, there are no roof leaks, and the windows open/close easily! It just seems like the place that was updated quite quickly. Lastly, the rental description said that we may not be able to use “some” shared spaces during wedding weekend. As it turns out we were not able to use ANY shared spaces during wedding weekend. Not even the meadow space. Check with them before booking.

For a family of four, it was just the right size. I would suggest a fan for the bathroom and power strips in the bedrooms for multiple plug in's for electronics.

We stayed for three nights in this cozy, quiet cabin and thought it was a great home base for our Greer trip. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood with cabins spread apart. It was just enough space for me, my husband, and our 5 year old. It had just enough comforts of home while still feeling like you are in the woods. The two bedrooms are similarly sized with queen beds. The only downside we noted was that one of the beds dipped in the middle with two adults laying in it. The kitchen was stocked with the pots, pans, and utensils we needed to cook meals. There is a Kuerig machine and a full-sized fridge. There is a gas grill on the little porch and a hammock in the yard. We learned that the cabin is part of The Lost Resorts, which has several cabins of different sizes and styles. The grouping of cabins that this property is located in (Aspens) is a short walk and across Main Street from the main office and amenities. There is a restaurant/lodge and three fishing ponds that belong to The Lost Resorts. We stopped by the office a couple of times for local recommendations and the staff were so kind and helpful. They helped us get same-day kayak reservations delivered to the local lake of our choice. My husband and daughter did some fishing in their ponds on our last day. No permit is required for the ponds, just non-barbed hooks and catch-and-release only. We really enjoyed what The Lost Resorts had to offer and would like to stay at one of their properties in the future.

We really enjoyed this little cabin. I would stay again without hesitation but would come better prepared. The area in Greer is quiet and perfect for walks. Lots of people walking dogs. There was only one bed with a blanket which was fine for us but would have been a problem if one of our children had come with. The kitchen has everything we needed. I wish it was clarified that the “coffee maker” is really a Keurig so we could bring k- cups instead of buying coffee grounds. The fireplace is electric so need to buy or bring firewood. The cabin is heated with space heaters only. I appreciated that they were turned on when we arrived late in the cool evening. There were not outside lights near the parking space when we arrived so unpacking in the dark in an unfamiliar space was difficult. However there was a light installed or somehow turned on during our stay. Our major issue was that there are NO restaurants available. We had planned to have dinner at the Lost Resorts restaurant on Saturday night. Confirmed opening times and days in the guest information in the cabin. Unfortunately it was NOT open, as were none of the other few restaurants. So leftover bagels are what we had for dinner. Had we known there were no options we would have gladly brought something to prepare. But we had confirmed earlier in the day. Overall we liked this spot and appreciate staying.

Refrigerator did not work, thus we lost all of our food. The cabin needed a serious cleaning.
