The Ranch offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (traditionally open Memorial Day until Labor Day but subject to change), plus a year-round hot tub and sauna. Wildlife abounds and there are many nearby trails.brbrThe open floor-plan of Creekside West provides a large bedroom with 2 comfortable queen beds and plenty of night-tables. For clothing storage, there is a 4-drawer dresser and wall hooks. In true cabin style, the living/dining area features rough-hewn walls and a west window to bring sunset skies close. This is the site where Edward Abbey wrote several of his pieces. Now fully remodeled, it serves as an additional sleeping area with a new queen sleeper sofa.brbrYou’re going to want this kitchen in your own home! It’s bright and airy, has a farmhouse sink, wood countertops, a great window, and cute light fixtures. It has all the supplies necessary to make a large meal.brbrThe dining area and living room are combined. The Farm House is located just south of Moab Utah, in the foothills of the LaSal Mountains. The house is part of the larger historic cattle and later dude ranch that existed before the turn of the 19th century. The Farm House sits on the site of the original homestead for the entire 600 acre ranch; although later replaced with the current building, the original Homestead was constructed of logs from local Cottonwood Trees and remnants of its root cellar are still visible next to the house. The location of the cabin allows for guests to take a break from the traffic and large crowds that are becoming all too common during peak seasons. Along with a break from the crowds, you can also take a respite from the heat with the mountain breeze and improved temperatures at this higher elevation.brbr*We recently added a Level II EV charger for our guests. A barn on the property houses a small herd of goats with babies born each spring. The valley enjoys an excellent dark sky environment, so make sure to step outside at night to take in the stars as you’ve never seen them before. Enjoy preparing meals in the large, well equipped kitchen that overlooks an apple orchard and red rock. Sit at the dining room table while enjoying views of the La Sal mountains. Additionally, there are two brand new mattresses in the Master bedroom closet you can toss out in the main room or better yet out on the patio for fresh air. There is plenty of bedding/pillows for your stay.brbrThere are two full bathrooms. One with a nice shower and a bathtub and bidet toilet, and the other with an Instagram worthy shower, top of the line bidet toilet and a beer keg urinal!brbrThe Lodge is all about comfort, space and entertaining. The open floor plan begs guests to congregate in the main room next to a big fireplace and 60” TV with a bar table and chairs for company.
