This is a peaceful little cabin/house perched above the winding Pedernales River arm of Lake Travis out in the Texas Hill Country. This spring of 2026 watch snowy egrets in the shoreline and graceful vultures soaring past the deck at eye level. Enjoy expansive sunrise views with morning birdsong and the evening glow of a rising moon in this serene setting. The river is full. There is a lower road below our home at the river's edge where you can enjoy a walk, but there is no beachfront area to easily access the river due to the rocky terrain. brbrWe are across the river from the Blissful Hill wedding venue and down the street from the Cypress Valley Event Center.brbr There is complete privacy on one side of the home where our two year old hot tub (serviced weekly) is located. Our home has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two doubles. There is one full bath and a second half bath. . There is a flat screen TV in the living and each of the bedrooms. brbrIf you start craving action, we are centrally located between Austin and Marble Falls and only 15 minutes to the Lakeway Hill Country Galleria's restaurants, shops and theaters. Or maybe just open a bottle of wine and hang out on the deck on the porch swing. Or take off down to Krause Spring's famous spring-fed swimming hole and butterfly garden a couple minutes a way. Or try some new wines from Stone House Winery, also just a few minutes away. Featuring 14-foot-tall wooden ceilings with over 600 square feet of living space as well as an outdoor covered porch, this one-story bungalow also has separate living, dining, and sleeping areas with a king-size bed.brAMENITIES:br Kitchenette has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, a large sink, coffee maker, blender, hot water kettle and toaster. Dishes, silverware and utensils are all provided and a one-burner stove top is available if you need it, but there is no oven ... no additional appliances, please. brMEDITATE in NATURE:brWalking trails lead to a remote section of canyon just off the Pedernales River, while the upper loop-trail offers a contemplative early-morning walk of over a half-mile with benches along the way. Decorated with a Santa Fe style, this 168 sq. ft. camper comes with a comfy queen bed and equally comfy bedding. This gem is the perfect home away from home and comes complete with a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. It sleeps 2 and a furry friend if you have one! **Note* There is no bathroom in this trailer. Bathrooms are located in the Bathhouse a short walk from the trailer.brbrGreen Acres Spicewood is a newly renovated glamping retreat that offers our guests a chance to enjoy the Texas Hill Country & experience glamping all in one. This collection of 4 tiny cabins and 8 vintage RV's rest on 20 acres of beautiful countryside on Highway 71.brbrEach unit has access to The Bathhouse that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 indoor spa like bathrooms with showers) 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, and ice machine.brbrEach unit also has access to the outdoor area with a playground (adult must be present), hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, room to walk and enjoy our property, and outdoor dining areas. We do allow dogs, but they must be on the leash at all times as we have free range ducks and chickens that roam the property.
