The larger primary bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV and it's own bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second primary bedroom has a cozy, queen size bed, flat screen TV and it's own bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the the way to the kids bunk room, you will pass the convenient half bathroom. From the deck, a back staircase will lead you to the fenced in back yard. Perfect for your canine friends; it even has a dog house. You will find more furniture with a fire pit. The Historic Galveston Island Pleasure Pier is less than a 1 mile away (a SUPER easy bike ride), and the Historic Strand (2.3 miles) for more delicious dining options and CANDY at La King's! The Galveston cruise terminal is less than 3 miles and Schlitterban/Moody Gardens, as is less than 4 miles away. Pro-Insider tip, for a good free time with your family, take a ride (in your car, or on a bike) out to the ferry terminal to Port Boliver in the evenings and take a free ferry ride (15 minutes each direction) over (and back) and watch the dolphins jumping up and around the bay. The kids will love it.brbrThere is street parking available for free. There are a variety of bicycle sizes for you to use in the garage, and you're welcome to store your own bikes in the garage. Galveston has spent a significant amount of time and money putting in easy to use bike paths throughout the East end making it very bike-friendly. It's often quicker to get around on foot/bike than it is to get stuck in your car on the seawall. Plus, your body and earth will thank you!!!

As you pass through the vestibule (mud/coat room) and into the foyer, you see pocket doors leading into the huge, open living room. We have a cabinet full of games in the living room along with several puzzles. Adjacent to the living room is a cozy, antique/nautical decorated Sun Room where you can almost hear the sounds of the beach which is just 8 short blocks away. The Sun Room has a Day Bed, a Twin Bed underneath, black out curtains over the windows, and black out curtains which separate it from the main Living Room. We call it a 5th bedroom. The main Dining Room has a formal dining table which seats 8, a Grandfather Clock, and furniture pieces from yesteryear. Next to the Dining Room is the Breakfast Room with seating for 4, and huge Kitchen which also has seating for 4. The updated kitchen offers an abundance of counter space, and is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, small appliances, and all the dinner and cookware you’ll need to prepare that special meal. There is a washer/dryer room and a half bath located off the kitchen in the back. brbrAs you travel up the century old, wood staircase to the 3rd floor, you’ll find 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The first bedroom, the 'Nursery', to the right, sleeps 2 with a queen sized bed and is adjacent to the Master Bedroom. There is a door connecting these two bedrooms, hence the name 'Nursery' (so that mom, back in 1914, could quickly get to her crying baby). It has locks on both sides for privacy. The Master Bedroom, 'Palm Room', sleeps 4 comfortably with a king sized bed and a set of twin bunk beds, and offers a private, full bath. The 3rd bedroom, the 'Beach Room', sleeps 4 more with 2 queen sized beds. And lastly, the “Texas Bunk Room” sleeps 4 with a set of twin bunk beds and a full sized bed. The 2nd full bathroom is conveniently situated in the hall and just a few steps away from all of the bedrooms. brbrThere are 5 Smart TV's in the house and WIFI is available throughout the house. There is also a Blue Ray DVD for those late night, popcorn movies, and Dish Network. There are no parking restrictions on either Broadway or on 17th street. There are 40 windows throughout the house so open the blinds and enjoy the natural lighting ! Welcome to “Fun Times Casa” condo located at the Maravilla Resort Condominiums on Galveston Island. Our comfortable condo is designed for easy living and laid-back coastal relaxation, making it perfect for couples, families or anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the ocean breeze.brbrUnwind in this family-friendly condo located at this premier condominium complex on the Island. It offers three swimming pools (one heated during the winter months), a hot tub, covered cabanas by the main pool, poolside grills and picnic tables, a beach shower and restrooms, volleyball, and more. The facility is pet-friendly (Fun Times Casa accepts pets) and features a Pet Wash Station for rinsing off your pets.brbrThe condo has everything you need to have a comfortable visit. The condo faces southeast, so you will receive the nice sun in the morning, but not the hot sun in the afternoon. You will experience a flood of natural light and coastal breeze in the living areas as you relax and watch the sun rise. There may be some variations in furnishings or décor as we continually update. brbrThe full kitchen and living area are open – perfect for socializing. The kitchen packs a punch with all the appliances you need to cook, including a microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of cooking accessories like basic spices, food containers/wraps and foils. It also includes a blender, toaster and wine glasses to add to your bag of culinary tricks. The living area features a flat screen TV and opens to the balcony with patio furniture, pool and ocean views. The bedroom offers the comfort of a King Bed with its own flat screen TV. The Alcove Hallway has a set of twin bunk beds and a recently acquired Queen-size Sleeper Sofa, if needed. The condo has its own washer/dryer and ironing board.brbrFun Times Casa is within walking distance of various sorts of entertainment, including Primetime Bowling, Go Carts and Fun Center (which includes bumper cars, arcade and axe throwing), Majic Carpet Miniature Golf, Tin Cups Golf Driving Range and Jimmy's on the Pier. You'll find yourself just a short distance to Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens and Aquarium and a State Park. A bit farther (minutes) is the Pleasure Pier, Historic Strand District in Downtown, the 1877 Tall Ship Elissa, Waterfront District, Free Ferry (walk on/off, normally see dolphins during this 20-minute ride), the Grand 1894 Opera House, Post Office Street where quaint shops and art galleries are located, and various museums.brGalveston is home to many festivals and events such as Mardi Gras, Shrimp Festival, Lone Star Rally and Dickens on the Strand.brbrWith year-round warmth, loads of sunshine, and all that Galveston has to offer, we would be pleased to host you at Fun Times Casa.brbrDue to the ongoing construction and in the interest of Safety, the Maravilla business office will be located in unit 121. This is where you will need to go to pay your parking.brLike all Condominiums in Galveston, a parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices are as follows: br1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales taxbr2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.br3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.brbrAlthough we love guests of all ages, you MUST be at least 25 years old to rent Fun Times Casa. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay.brHome is pet friendly for up to 2 pets with approval, contact our office for more information. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum. All fees and services are subject to 15% tax.
