The den is a great place to relax, overlooking the courtyard and vineyard. The large screen tv is connected to wifi, allowing you to stream shows using your own streaming subscriptions. The coffee table is stocked with games and puzzles for spending time with family and friends. Enjoy all of this with a cozy backdrop from the fireplace set up with flameless candles.brbrOpen to the den, the kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, glassware, serving dishes, and cookware, making it easy to cook your meals here. You'll have plenty of room to unpack with a dresser and a closet in each room. 2 of the bedrooms have private bathrooms, and the 3rd has a bathroom just outside the bedroom door. There is a bonus room upstairs with 2 twin beds and another large screen tv.brbrThe Vineyard Vista is a private space - you'll have access to the whole house except for a small locked closet containing housekeeping supplies.brbrIt's important to note that the vineyard we enjoy looking at is not our property and you will not be able to go into it. Please do not cross any of the fences surrounding our property.brbrThe areas near the house and inside our driveway are mostly clear of sticker burrs. If you venture into the meadows behind the barn and outside the driveway, expect to have burrs on the bottoms of your shoes. You might consider bringing some old shoes if you want to spend time in these areas. ** If you do go into these areas, please remove your shoes when you come into the house. Burrs will come off on the carpets and you will find them later with your bare feet. Ouch! **brbrThe barn is used for storage and stays locked. Feel free to park under the covered parking next to the barn if you like.brbrYou can also park in the garage, or anywhere on our gravel road/driveway. Please do not take vehicles off of the road/driveway at any time as they will damage our septic system and sprinklers.brbrBring your boat or jet skis! Follow the beautiful walkway (made from rocks mined in our yard and locally) in our backyard to access the lake. Maybe you'd prefer hanging out under any of our large oak trees on the property. A 4 bedroom, 2 bath remodeled house located in a cove on Lake Buchanan near Spider Mountain (4 minute drive) and Reveille Peak (10 minute drive) off of CR 2341. brbrThe property and house is free from Wi-Fi and television, and you'll find that creates the perfect situation to unplug, fostering personal connections and outside experience. There is SiriusXM Radio with 300+ channels, located in the living room. There are lots of board games, puzzles, card games and a high end poker table. A television located in Bunk Room is available to connect a gaming console. Gaming console and games will need to be provided by the guest.brbrEnjoy some time outside under the screened in porch or large outside deck. The deck is accessible from the screened porch and from primary bedroom. Propane grill is available for use on deck. brbrNext door is the private gated fishing dock, boat ramp, and pavillion. Access is availble with use of the gate opener and vehicle hang tags. Currently due to the lake levels at Buchanan, the swim area and dock in front of the house is dry, but the lake is accessible a short walk away. The kitchen and dining area offer plenty of space for meal preparation: double ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and utensils are provided. If you enjoy cooking outside, you're welcome to use the Rec-Tec pellet grill.brbrEnjoy the lake breeze and the hill country wildlife while you sip your morning coffee on the covered porch or down by the water on the pier. A beautiful, sprawling lawn down to the water finds butterflies, deer, squirrels, osprey and Canadian geese leading you to the private pier and water access. The area is ideal for swimming, fishing, canoeing (provided), stand up paddle board (provided) or floating peacefully on inner tubes with friends. The dock features plenty of space for sunbathing during the day or star gazing at night.brbrEven in the fall the lake offers beautiful foliage color and mild temps while you enjoy the quiet lake to yourself. You are welcome to bring a boat (up to 18') and tie it to the pier/boat dock (water depth 3'). Boat rentals are also available locally. There's only one public boat ramp at Inks State Park so boat traffic is normally lite.
