Burnet, Texas
This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home on Inks Lake boasts 300 feet of water frontage and is a perfect getaway for a private weekend escape or a vacation destination for the family. Inks Lake, nestled in between Burnet and Llano in the beautiful Texas hill country, is constant level and the home of the popular Inks Lake State Park and Camp Longhorn.
This unique mid-century modern open floor plan home features large windows across the entire back of the home with amazing scenic lake views from every room. The kitchen and dining area offer plenty of space for meal preparation: double ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and utensils are provided. If you enjoy cooking outside, you're welcome to use the Rec-Tec pellet grill.
Enjoy the lake breeze and the hill country wildlife while you sip your morning coffee on the covered porch or down by the water on the pier. A beautiful, sprawling lawn down to the water finds butterflies, squirrels, osprey and Canadian geese leading you to the private pier and water access. The area is ideal for swimming, fishing, canoeing (provided), stand up paddle board (provided) or floating peacefully on inner tubes with friends. The dock features plenty of space for sunbathing during the day or star gazing at night.
Even in the fall the lake offers beautiful foliage color and mild temps while you enjoy the quiet lake to yourself. You are welcome to bring a boat (up to 18') and tie it to the pier/boat dock (water depth 3'). Boat rentals are also available locally. There's only one public boat ramp at Inks State Park so boat traffic is normally lite. Boat trailers can be left in the parking area in front of the house.

We stayed here for a golf and birthday weekend! This house is beautifully decorated, perfectly situated and was the ideal place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of lake living, if only for a few days! Thank you for sharing your lovely oasis!
Inks lake is a beautiful location and this house in particular with its long driveway and mature trees on the lake side conveys a park-like setting. The house is nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. There are friendly ducks around the lake and deer to be spotted. I'd enjoy staying here again.
What a lovely place on Inks Lake! Beautiful spacious yard with plenty of outdoor seating. The home has great windows from all the bedrooms and the 2 living areas, and is comfortable and roomy. Very pretty inside and out!
Very nice home right on the lake! Wonderfully shaded back yard with huge oak trees. A great porch for drinking your morning coffee. Recently updated mid century modern interior. A very comfy place to stay, we'll be back!
We absolutely loved staying in this home! The widows that covered the backside of the house gave a beautiful view of the back yard, with all its trees and the lake. The owners supplied everything needed to have a wonderful time. We were able to pull our jet ski right up to the dock and my kids loved playing in the back yard and feeding the ducks and geese. The house was perfect for our stay with plenty of room. Brandi was fantastic! She helped me through a few unfortunate incidents, on our part, and was so kind and quick to respond! We will definitely go back...if she will have us!?
This beautiful lakeside home was the perfect place for our family and 2 dogs! This MCM home is so beautifully restored. I loved all the original windows, which looked out onto the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the large back porch and watching the dogs play under massive trees that shade the big backyard. The wind coming off the lake cooled the near was near 100 degrees days - and made it pleasant. We did alot of cooking, floated in the lake, kayaked and fish - but most of all we made memories! We hope to return for a longer trip next time!!
Our family of seven stayed here for several days. There was lots of room for our 3 generations and one small dog. We enjoyed the well-designed house, the wildlife, and the large, shady backyard. Being on Inks Lake was outstanding. We hope to come back soon. Thanks, Brandi
We loved this beautiful property. Relaxing on the back porch, along the bank of the lake in the yard, or on the dock was just the kind of thing we were looking for. The host was responsive and helpful.
The location is just about perfect. Ink’s lake is the kind of lake that’s quiet when it needs to be. The sounds of nature surround you both at night and in the morning as you sit on the sprawling back porch. The beds are soft, the house is renovated. So much attention to detail. Tubes to borrow. Candles ready to be lit. Blankets to ward of the evening chill. Even the wall of windows looking out on the water makes you feel outside even when you’re indoors. It’s the kind of place you hate to leave. We will definitely be back!
