Inks Lake Open Water and Pet friendly home

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt relaxed and peaceful!

We had a wonderful family reunion over Thanksgiving. The amenities were great, especially the pool table/ping-pong table combo in the game room. The new addition is splendid and the bunk beds are sturdy and comfortable. Caught tons of catfish from the dock totalling over 50 lbs. Thank you, Brandi!

Beautiful property, yard was great, waterfront not so much. I called about 10 days before our date to ask specifically about the waterfront and lake cleanliness and ability to access the water. I was told there was a little eel grass. However, the water was totally inaccessible from the dock, the ladder to the water, the canoe or the sup. The eel grass was so thick it looked like green spaghetti in a bowl, with lots of various colored algae floating on or near the top. And where it thinned out in deeper water out from the dock, you could see hydrilla growing as well. We watched as a huge snake rose up about a foot out of the grass and looked around. We saw about 20 snakes over our 3 days there. I can't imagine anyone willing to swim in that water. And it was something i was really looking forward to while we were there. Thankfully it didn't smell, but it looked awful and very dangerous. The lake as a whole was pretty quiet, but there were some boats going along out in the middle away from the shoreline.

Absolutely loved this place! The yard with all the trees and deer that roam was picturesque. The house had all the amenities. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend. I didn’t want to leave.

There is no way to summarize our stay-it was one of the best experiences EVER! The house is wonderful! It is furnished with first class items-no cost cutting! Kitchen is fully furnished with great appliances, dishes, etc. it was very comfortable for 4 paddle boarders-plenty of room, wonderful back porch and dock for watching sunrise and sunsets! We will go back again and again! Host is amazing!!!

Very nice older home fully stocked with everything you could need. lots of established trees and large sloped carpet grass lawn. Great fishing right off the pier. Couldn’t float in the water due to floating grass and muck but this might have been from the recent flooding and beyond the owners control and she was very helpful and responsive. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

We had a great time. Large, super clean home with two family rooms and a game room! The kids kept themselves happy even when it rained. Everything we hoped for and more!

Great location! Close enough to town but far enough away with awesome views and wonderful amenities.

Our family consists of 6 adults and 2 teen boys, and all of us are fishing fanatics. The large house was perfect for our comfort and ability to spread out. The games, pool table/ ping pong table, kept everyone entertained when they weren't on the fishing pier. We caught the most fish our group has ever hauled in on a family vacation. Our fish fry was great. The bream were the largest i have ever seen in my 72 years and the channel cats ran from regular size to several whoppers. This may rank as our best trip ever.

The property is beautiful with the huge trees and grassy yard. A dock to moor your boat and easy to get off and onto the lake. Plenty of room inside and a very comfortable stay! We will definitely visit again!

We stayed during this Christmas holiday and wasn't disappointed. The house itself has so much character and charm. Put all that charm in front of a beautiful lake full of large catfish, all the deer you want to watch, and the serenity of it all!! Loved it and can't wait to go back! I spent my life growing up on Inks Lake. This house was just what we needed for our family. Plenty of room, very clean, amazing lake views from every room. The property has generous lake front and access. The property owner was easy to work with and gracious. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back.

Quick little getaway before school starts. Home was very well decorated and the view of the lake was beautiful. If you’re looking for a quiet ,serene place to disconnect, I highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this home! It is better than the pictures! The entire back of the home faces a gorgeous yard and your private dock on the lake! The decor was like modern, boho. We hope to rent again sometime! The host Brandi was amazing with communication, before and during our stay!

We loved this mid-century gem and its quiet, idyllic location right on Inks Lake. Lots of yard for the dog to run around in, for adult kids to play cornhole and throw the frisbee, even a canoe! A great time was had by everyone. Highly recommend and would definitely go back. Big bonus: Awesome AC!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brandi’s wonderful house on Inks. The house is super comfortable with everything you need. The lawn is huge with perfect shade and the dock was great for our boat. Couldn’t have asked for more!
